Wish for peace all you want. We are one election away from having open borders and having this stuff right here. I’m certain that special forces were involved, but so was the CIA. They literally flew the drugs into the U.S for the cartels.
The big hole still left in this story is the missing child. Was he kidnapped? Did he ran away? Was he somehow the target? Ex father looking for revenge? If the “cartel” is blamed here so quickly, is it possible it’s more than what meets the eye?
I’m not a local. I don’t know their everyday reality. I just hope they find the kid.

People are not fleeing bordering nations to get here. There are traveling across the ocean to Mexico or walking through Mexico to get here claiming asylum because they know they might have a chance to stay by doing so. There is a camp in Mexico of people wanting entrance to the US and after a while of not being allowed in, they just go back home.
