@Debbie Henri – What needs to be made clear is that British health care is funded by a small tax on every working citizen. A graduated tax based on income. A fairly small tax. Therefore health care is not free but paid for by everyone – providing a secure cheap system for everyone. Private health care is also available for those who want it. Nobody is ever bankrupted when they fall sick. It’s a common sense system which works for everyone. Watch the Tories try to sell it off because capitalism is their God. Sadly Americans have been duped into believing this system is ‘Communism’.

@real american Sorry, mate, that used to be true, maybe, in the 50ies, but not anymore. Now, you need hard work, ambition, *and* good education, or friends in the right places. At least for the majority of people. There will always be a few people that just get lucky through no fault of their own. They tell their story, and everybody believes it to be an universal truth. Because Ivanka ordered a bunch of voting machines from China, all of a sudden trump is pushing people to go in so we can use those machines, think about that. I’ve come to realize that trump has his own agenda and this whole USPS isn’t about mailing in ballots. There are alot of protocols in place and I know this because my sister is one of the people who open and review them. Let’s not change the constitution and take peoples rights away.

Cee Cee you say if Trump wins again you will lose all respect for Americans. You don’t understand the electoral process, and I get that. The electoral College actually makes the decision. The popular vote was overwhelmingly won by Hillary Clinton. Several states are more important in the process than others. I just read that that the Supreme Court in July decided that the persons who are designated to cast the votes for each state now have to cast their vote as the voters, meaning us, really meant them to go. That is big, and oddly I haven’t heard anything in the Media about it. THAT will be a more accurate representation of how America voted. So you see, we haven’t really had a true opportunity to be heard. It may have made sense in 1776, when few males were educated, but not now. Women didn’t get the vote until the 1920’s election. It’s been a slow slog for us. So now, maybe it really will be for and by the people.
Also, Cee cee each state gets a number of votes to be cast, and that varies by the population of the state. So, it isn’t the actual population but a designated representation . See map of the U.S. with these designations.
