A Tibetan teenager makes the difficult decision to return to his family yak farm having spent most of his childhood far away at school. His farm is in the vast high country grasslands where the grasslands have provided food and prosperity to Nomad Yak herders and farmers for centuries.

But recent desertification from climate change and overgrazing have changed the landscape and the lives of its inhabitants – The grass and everything that depends on it is at risk.

Nowhe Tibetan boy will work to learn the farming ways of his ancestors while trying to master the latest drone technology to be amongst a new generation that stays on the land and helps restore the landscape for a sustainable farming future for his family.
