In other words, Republicans are not running an investigation, but simply putting on a show, before dismissing the case. The majority leader in the Senate, Mitch McConnell stated, ” I’m partial to the President ” and ” I’m working hand in hand with the White House. “, when he’s supposed to be impartial and working for the citizens of this Country.
Fortunately, I believe, Republicans will pay a heavy price when November comes and then again during the next mid-term elections.
I think it will be a long time before the public trusts Republicans enough again, to give them control of either Congress or the Senate.
