Adora Nwofor: “There should be more Black women doing comedy”

Adora Nwofor is working to dismantle anti-Black racism one joke at a time.

The Calgary native recently spoke to CTVNews.ca about how her comedy and Black activism work intersect, and the need for more Black women in comedy.

  2. Be funny, claiming to be a victim of something that doesn’t exist, isn’t funny, it’s pathetic. Bill Cosby did well as a comedian, Eddie Murphy did well, Richard Pryor did well, claiming your skin color is holding you back at this point, is beyond pathetic.

  3. Most female comedians just aren’t funny. They should stay home and let the men handle comedy.
