It happens that way here too – ALL the TIME! We get choices that the wealthy klass permits us to have to chose from. Ever see any poor people run for office? Please save the families? Do you see any families there on that runway or fighting aged men? Tell me this, if you were an Afghan man so in fear of what the Taliban would do to your mother, wife, sisters or daughters would you run away and leave them behind? Why are so many of them laughing and cheering as they are running along side that plane?

Afghan soldiers did not have proper weapons, were not getting paid or being fed because the Afghan government is corrupt and kept all the money the US gave them to pay their soldiers with.

I’m sorry to say this, but the Afghan Government is to blame for losing to Taliban for not training hard enough.
They had a corrupt government whom the people didn’t trust, and a military that was only trained to fight with US intelligence services and air support, and the Taliban emboldened by Trump’s actions. What a recipe for disaster. .
Her pleas should go to the Afghan soldiers, not the US. The guns the US gave them are for more than handing to the Taliban at the first threat.
As unfortunate as this is, finally we get an Afghanistany perspective, but where is the UN?
