    1. @Rusty Shakelford You have no idea how RNA works. Stop spouting your nonsense and read a book. Talking about things you don’t understand is dangerous to public health. First of all RNA modifications alter the virus not the person. I don’t expect you to come up with a logical response to this, seeing that you’re a personification of your avatar from King of the Hill. Great show by the way, but not meant to be taken literally to live day to day. Anti vaxxers and their conspiracy theories don’t belong in our modern society.

    2. The only thing they hid was the truth it was ready before the election. Did not want to give Tr*mmp any advantage in the elec. He won anyway.

    3. @Anj Fyi Thanks for the info. I like to research everything myself bc I don’t believe everything I’m told by MSM. .In THIS world right now, It’s imperative.

    4. @IZA DARKO He lost and he’s doing damage to the Republican Party delaying this so long. Republicans won’t win 2024 if he keeps this up.

    1. I really can’t argue with this. I’ve always thought that the children of those who run armament factories should be the first to be drafted to serve in the front lines of wars.

    2. @funmakinmoney99 oh they will go first, probably be televised or streamed
You’ll just have to trust Honest Justin or all his muppets when they tell you it IS the vaccine… Even though it will probably just be saline

    1. @bren nope there are going to be delays in approving and distributing. Nothing ever gets done smoothly in this country. my guess is end of summer/early fall until we have a major vaccination roll out & by that time the pandemic will be near the end of its run anyways lol

    2. @jakep1979 Major roll out will likely be occurring during spring/summer, but vaccines will be taken as soon as December (from the relatively small stockpiles currently built up). The rolling review means approval will be relatively quick, just waiting on Moderna and Pfizer’s 2 month safety followups being released within the next 1-2 weeks now.

    3. @bren There will be limited supply in December. Whatever small amount Canada gets will still have be approved by Health Canada & may not be distributed enough to make an impact right away. Optimistically late spring early summer but there are always delayes as there are lots of moving parts. The sad thing is between RIGHT now until February is where this pandemic is going to do the most damage & we will only get the major roll out after the 2nd wave already passed. 3rd wave even without vaccine would likely be just a small ripple in comparison.

  1. Effective at WHAT? Effective at reducing hospitalizations? Or effective at preventing any detectable viral replication whatsoever in the body? Those are not the same thing. I’m frustrated with how few news broadcasters are getting into that level of detail which is important.

    1. @adisbern Isn’t that a bit of a design flaw? Shouldn’t ALL be tested for COVID19 antibodies at the end of the trial and perhaps even midway since 40%+ of infections are asymptomatic, meaning that their results could be off by a large margin in terms of efficacy if they only test symptomatic participants?

    2. @ns90 I agree but they only reported the early stage of the phase 3 trials necessary for Emergency Use Authorization.

    3. @ns90 You are either asymptomatic (negligible viral load, if any) or you are infected (to varying degrees) & ill. You aren’t ‘infected’ if you are asymptomatic. I.E. You have a cut present & it heals without incident – you did not have an infection, you had a cut. Your cut does not heal & becomes infected, you have an infection. It may seem an oversimplification, but our immune system does not discriminate.

  2. It can be stored at -20 °C? I guess the pharmacies in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and the territories can just leave them outside then. 😂

    1. Maybe one day John will wake up and learn to be kind to their fellow men, stop being an anti-vaxer and pass 1st grade science.

    1. Elon musk said he won’t vax his kids most politicians won’t vax kids with vax full of several different metals such as aluminum mercury & aborted 14 week old baby cells along with nanoenzymes which will cause infertility just like in 2014 in Africa

  3. Why is the military needed for distributing this vaccine while other vaccines are implemented by pharmacies now, why not operate in the same way? family doctor and pharmacies?

    1. How many vaccines for polio, MMR, etc. are distributed each year vs how many COVID vaccines are going to be needed to be distributed over the course of a couple months? Its a question of half a million doses tops vs 60 million.
