  1. “If the misery of the poor be caused not by the laws of nature, but by our institutions, great is our sin.”

    1. What does is tell u about the American people that they could fall for a snake oil corrupt racist conman even once. What will it say , if u Americans choose him again. 🤔🤔🤔🤢🤢🤮

  2. “I don’t know even what my question is”. The question is: how can this creature be AG, responsible for the DoJ? Comparing stay-at-home orders, a health safety measure, with slavery? This comes from the same white man who denies there is systematic racism. His comment is drenched in white supremacy. More than 50 years after the civil rights act of 1964, trump and barr openly support and promote white supremacy and racism.

    1. Literally puts slavery in a different category altogether for ‘intrusion on civil liberties’, that’s not comparing them:
“other than slavery, which was a different kind of restraint, this is the greatest intrusion on civil liberties in American history”.

People call this administration authoritarian and fascist, but here you all are demanding that the government, currently with Trump at the head, be given the power to force people to stay in their homes and force certain businesses to shut down with no time limit, I remember when Democrats used to be against this stuff but now you joyfully cheer for it because they tell you to. It’s a “health safety measure” just like the patriot act was a “national safety measure”, just like we’re at war in the middle east for “national security” reasons, it’s all a nice way of saying “extra government authority”. I think your comment is drenched in white supremacy in failing to understand that non-white people own businesses too and they would be forced by the government to not only close their business for an untold amount of time with no chance to open but also be forced to stay at home, not free to go where they wish…a black person not free to go where they wish and forced to stay where they’re told to stay, hmmmm

Why are businesses being forced to close instead of given rules to follow and being able to operate under those rules? Literally all he is saying and you somehow take that and turn it into white supremacy because there’s no actual argument beyond “I hate Trump so everything must be morally bad and wrong”

    2. @sharshooter59 Blah blah blah blah.
dump completely ignores all the health guidelines. ALL OF THEM. Open businesses or close them what does it matter if we’re not doing what we’re supposed to be doing.
The walking skid mark is responsible for the chaos and the deaths with SO many more to come.

    1. If you require this alternative reason for Barr’s deliberately malicious mendacity, you’re fooling yourself. He really is that nasty, no blubber. He hates the 99%

    1. @Paul Wilson which in some ways is the point. Barr is clearly abusing his powers to aid Trump’s corrupt purpose and cronies. The republican party implicitly shares in that corruption, as they did when Trump was impeached.

    2. @Paul Wilson no. But I am saying Trump is the most unfit person to hold any office, and that he and his criminal gang are actively destroying your government.

  3. Lolwut he’s about to learn what being on for real house arrest is like. Enjoy your government issued ankle bracelet mr barf. What a turd.

  4. Guess Bill Barr hasn’t seen the pictures of Americans wearing signs saying “WEAR A MASK OR GO TO JAIL” in the 1918 pandemic . . .

    1. What? He talks about the civil liberty of opening your business while following certain guidelines. Isn’t that what markets and restaurants are doing? Big corporations are able to stay open during this, are they depriving another person the civil liberty of life? It’s small businesses that are hurt the most from the lock down and won’t be able to recover…That’s peoples’ livelihoods and depriving them of even the chance to run their business with precautions while major corporations are allowed to stay open is an injustice.

  5. “The president, I mean the attorney general” both are liars, cons, traitors, abusing and killing Americans, can’t tell the differnce, and both look well fed and confident, related to having healthcare and protection, how brave
