I apologize, it may have been a blank, but because it killed her and it has happened before, I assumed it was a bullet.

    2. I think the press is currently saying it was a live round (bullet.) Still too early for info to be very reliable.

Armorer (or whoever was in charge of weapons) probably screwed up massively.

Still, even when that happens, safety guidelines are such that nobody should get killed even when a live round is improperly in the gun (at least since the death of Brandon Lee anyway.)

A number of cameramen seemed to have walked out the previous day, and the now dead cinematographer was reportedly taking their side on safety issues.

Probably a number of people had to screw up and get reckless for a fatality to occur: armorer, producers, director, Baldwin as both actor and producer…

    3. @Anonymous Coward Baldwin didn’t screw up. He wasn’t prop master. He wasn’t armorer. He was pretending it was live, he didn’t make it live. You were fine until you said that false crap.

  1. Anti gun and anti Trump guy shouldn’t be around guns that he tells us peasants we can’t own. He won’t get sued or jail time like us peasants.

  2. Poor Halyna could have been home with her family instead she died on a thursday looking at Alec Baldwin’s face what a tragedy.I hope Justin Beiber gives her family some autographs.

  3. He has been out of control his whole life. Kicked off planes, fighting over parking spots, yelling at reporters. This was waiting to happen.
    Trouble always finds the troubled.
