Alex Jones has filed for personal bankruptcy

Right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones filed for personal Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in a Texas court, according to court documents.
In the documents, Jones estimates his assets to be worth between $1 to 10 million, and his liabilities to be between $1 to $10 billion. The Infowars host’s primary company, Free Speech Systems, also filed for bankruptcy protection in July.
Jones’ personal filing comes after he lost a bid in Texas to reduce the nearly $50 million damages award handed down by a jury earlier this year over his false claims about the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.

    1. @Harold Hillbillies gave you the weekend and labor laws, now we keep your EV charged and your house warm, you’re welcome 🙂

  1. He still has his show, right?
So, there is constantly coming new money in.
Jones can now live in a tiny appartement and own only the basics to live, and every single penny he makes can go to the parents, until he has payed all that money.

This CANNOT be difficult! Unless he actually now starts living like an actually POOR person, he IS NOT BANKRUPT!

And hey! It‘s the USA! We KNOW how it looks like when people actually live on poverty! The country has more than enough!

    1. @Amor Phix Typical. Fascists never defend a person’s right to free speech 💬

Say what we want or we will destroy you.

      Adolf would be proud.

    2. @ihartsacto It’s so easy for you to say “they could’ve not listened to him”…none of those children were his…He deserves to have nothing..and his defenders sh up…

  2. He’s trying to avoid paying anything to those families. I bet he has millions hidden somewhere and is lying, which he’s great at.

    1. @T They did not ask for it. It is the American way of punishing him for making money from children slaughter.

    1. this is a crazy man which hate everyone and support dictator trump.he laugh and joking about dead in mass massacre and tell that this was fake.he is really lunatic and he fired many people yelling at them.

    2. You simply cannot sue someone for millions and destroy his life knowing that what he said did not cause any financial or physical harm to the people involved. It’s morally wrong.
This trial is just a symbolic push to remove all of our freedom by starting from the root of it: our freedom of speech.

    3. Mind Begs the Question:
Hitler,Nazi Media – falsely Demonized Jews
      Govt,Media – can’t spread Misinformation?

    4. Perfect! Yes, he’s a first class dirt bag loser in the mould of the good riddance mush Limbaugh school of immorality!

  3. Alex Jones began making financial moves designed to protect his assets ahead of his company’s bankruptcy …

    1. this is a crazy man which hate everyone and support dictator trump.he laugh and joking about dead in mass massacre and tell that this was fake.he is really lunatic and he fired many people yelling at them.

    2. @MySpace … Well, what he is doing is dishonest and illegal. For him, there will be a cost and it’s prison time. It’s called FRAUDALENT CONVEYANCES in bankruptcy … And, it’s bankruptcy fraud. Good luck, Alex. That’s a prison sentence (for sure) with that much money being moved around. Speak from someone who has filed bankruptcies.

    3. @Poe Lemic There are legit reasons to file. I’m betting u were wise enuf to know the courts don’t play and u sure don’t try to play them. He’s dumb enuf tho to play it all the way and then whine about being such a Martyr. And ppl who worship him will lap it all up. Boo Hoo.

  4. This is infuriating. These people have lost their everything. Jones could get a job at the local car wash and still go home to his family at night.

    1. @Belly Dancer Em One man kept asking them questions and was arrested. His name is Wolfgang Halbig. He was on Alex’s show once, or twice nearly a decade ago. He was arrested for still contacting people though back in 2020.
I would say it is more likely they spent their $70m in Remington lawsuit money already, and want to continue their lavish lifestyle.

    2. @John Freedman he was charged with illegally possessing someone else’s ID and releasing that information without permission. I can see how that is a felony

    1. It would be worth the money if they were teaching him to control his behavior. AND they’d sure be earning their pay.

    2. @STon … What he is doing is dishonest and illegal.

    1. @Robert Alker Poetic justice will happen when he chokes on a piece of steak and no one knows how to Heimlich. Or they do and refuse.

  5. When is his first fine part payment or instalment due? And when is his arrest warrant issued for his failure to pay his penalty fine/s that were determined in the court/s of law?

  6. I hope this petition is fully investigated before being approved. He’s had time to transfer assets and anyone knowingly involved in that should also be prosecuted.

    1. Repent. Believe in Jesus. John 3:16 KJV – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Luke 13:3 KJV – I tell you nay: but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
John 3:3 KJV – “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

    2. @Pootin And I hope you have the same energy for the investigations of Trump as you do for Hunter’s laptop. That is what is best for the country.

    3. @The Accidental Viking I suspect it wouldn’t even take anyone that keen. This is the same guy that had two judgments against him because he was too stupid to follow the procedures of discovery. Not to mention a judge had to threaten him to stop selling toothpaste to his marks that Jones said cured COVID-19.

    4. @Carlos Martinez That depends. Getting constant threats of death and rape from Jones’ supporters can certainly cause a lot of pain and suffering. I would take great pride in screwing Alex Jones into the ground and having his great-great-grandchildren still paying off his judgment to the kin of these families.

  7. this process of lying and hiding his money will go on for the rest of his life. he will never shake them off. of course they will drag him into court and make his life a misery. he did this to himself. this is why the they award punitive damages. it’s supposed to “hurt”.

    1. @Vernon… Yeah, there will be a cost: prison time. It’s called FRAUDALENT CONVEYANCES in bankruptcy … And, it’s bankruptcy fraud. Good luck, Alex. That’s a prison sentence (for sure) with that much money being moved around.

    2. these rulings will later be overturned in federal appeals court for violating excessive fines clause.

  8. That sneaky slimeball!!!
For him to try and squirrel his cash into places just to avoid the financial accountability he OWES the Sandy Hook parants is one thing, but for him to still act like he was still in the right as if he didn’t learn his lesson is just a sick new low, in my view.
They better squeeze every once of every penny that’s associated with him, no matter where it hides. PERIOD.

    1. They will. He’s about to feel a squeeze he never imagined. Maybe the stress will make his cold heart seize up.

  9. The courts take a dim view of bankruptcies that are a strategic way of avoiding paying debt rather than the protections for people who genuinely and honestly run out of money that bankruptcy laws are designed for. I think this will backfire on him big time, and so I am glad he has taken this dishonest route.

    1. @ArtistJohn … You are so damned right. With his situation, ALex JOnes is in a world of pain soon. Here’s my comment from above … Well, what he is doing is dishonest and illegal. Filing a bankruptcy, is something that I hated doing, but I had to do it. I had heart surgery and just couldn’t cover all of the expenses. And, the Court appreciates someone owing up, but what fucking Jones is doing is not that. He’s a slimeball and I have heard that the Judge who is presiding over his case, doesn’t find what he is doing as that funny or humorous.

  10. Personal bankruptcy won’t delay anything, his net worth is tied up in shell companies. The judgement will go after all of his assets. If he tries to file “Chapter 11” then there is a comptroller assigned and any existing judgements against his finances will have to get in line. But they will get their money.

    1. this is a crazy man which hate everyone and support dictator trump.he laugh and joking about dead in mass massacre and tell that this was fake.he is really lunatic and he fired many people yelling at them.

    2. @Marc … Yes, spot on. Well, what he is doing is dishonest and illegal.

  11. Ten years of reliving their HEARTBREAKING lost. Take everything of value from his lowlife butt and anyone trying to help him hide any assets. His pain will never come close to the families of the victims pain but loosing hopefully EVERYTHING will hurt the hell out of him.

    1. So you believe that someone should lose everything they ever made in life, with no opportunity to ever recover it over bad statements?

    2. @Bruno Mehle
So your okay with someone LYING for profit and causing continuous sadness and pain to multiple people. Yes I think he should be stripped of EVERYTHING, judging from the judgments so does twelve other people.

    3. @Bruno Mehle
Maybe most of that BILLION is what he made off of his lies and the rest is punitive damages. You sound as if you’re an Alex Jones listener. Just like he said the shooting never happened and the parents were actors. The judgement isn’t real the jury, the attorneys, the witnesses, the bailiff and the judge are all actors so he gets to keep his money. HAPPY!!!!

  12. Break him … treat him the same way as he treated the families that lost their children & loved ones, never let him weasel his way out of this …

    1. @Cheese Head Really, even if your head is full of cheese..your cruelty is incredible…you don’t have children do you??

    2. @ cheese head and you know this because? The articles I read about the Texas verdict painted a tragic picture of what the survivors went through at Jones’ hands. I think what they mostly wanted was for Jones to stop, but there was money to be made so he never did. I frankly can’t believe you are spewing the same bile here.

  13. Jones is just lucky that I’m not a parent of one of the Sandy Hook victims…he would have been eliminated from this world years ago.
I cannot understand why he is still breathing after causing so much extra pain to the families. Maybe someone will still get him…

  14. I have had the misfortune of dealing with someone who attempted to manipulate a company’s books and hide money in order to avoid their legal obligations. Let me just say this: forensic accountants don’t mess around. A good forensic accountant would give Alex Jones a financial colonoscopy the likes of which he could not begin to imagine. These guys know what they’re doing and they do it very well. Alex may think he’s pretty smart right now, but all he’s really doing is putting off the inevitable.

    1. Mr. Jones, in my opinion, has fleeced way to many , just as Dr.Oz( I guess that’s where he’s a wizard of) I am , at the age of 74 If you see it on TV, it’s too good to be true!
