    1. @sharon kriese how can he be? Jails are trying to avoid outbreaks also, if he’s contained anywhere it’s probably not a jail yet… but he does belong there..

  1. I hope if there won’t be residents that get infected from this individual and if they do end up losing a family member due to this person’s recklessness and complete lack of morals and empathy for human life the are charged with manslaughter not just charged . I have a family member in a long term care facility and there have already been 4+ deaths there. This is completely unacceptable.

  2. How stupid do you have to be to visit the most vulnerable group when you know you have covid? He had to know he was guaranteeing the death of many or just insanely dumb.

    1. The better question: why hasn’t the government implemented the proper procedures to ensure such a thing couldn’t happen?

  3. It should be a criminal offence to knowingly and effectively spread a pathogen towards those most vulnerable. Especially during a state of emergency during a pandemic.

    1. @fil a I imagine the story would read that the guy was arrested and awaiting trial if he had taken a gun into the care home and just had a few desk pops.

    1. Just because they may know who the person is, they need to be sure before accusing and have all the info before they can complete the investigation.

  4. He visited a vulnerable, elderly relative, while fully aware that he had COVID. Was he hoping for an early inheritance?

    1. I don’t know who, but someone actually needs to hear this, you’ve got to stop saving all your money. Venture into investing some, if you really want financial stability
