Ambulance Companies Arrive At 'A Breaking Point' | Morning Joe | MSNBC

  1. Homeless hobo’s in Cuba, Canada, West European countries & Australia & New Zealand have better health care than the average American. I have visited most of these countries & can attest to this fact.

    1. Funny user name. And you’re YouTube account is only one day old so who are you, really, Rudy Colludy Ghouliani?
Alas, I doubt you will tell.
      Stay safe!

    2. I’m a European citizen and its very little homelessness cause most government across Europe help there people by giving them housing, money for food, Free health care and jobs programs

    3. Being from Canada, I know this to be a true fact. We post nothing out of pocket for our healthcare, it comes from our taxes like it should.

    4. I’ve traveled and lived in Europe. One time I became very ill with pnumonia. Because I wasn’t a citizen, I paid.
For the doctors, the care, lab work, x-rays and prescriptions it was under $100 total.
      And, no waiting.
In the USA this would have cost over $2,000, easily. Not including the prescriptions along with a much longer wait.
This experience opened my eyes even more how universal health care is a right.

  2. EMS was already at a breaking point before COVID. We should be seeing federal support to help pay for pre-hospital providers to do their job, but the government is doing the opposite.

    1. I agree with this. My son is an EMT. Thank you for recognizing our first responders on the front line in this pandemic.

    2. We should be seeing the federal government destroy ambulance companies and then fund fire departments to manage it.

  3. It’s amazing to me that this is going on…I have multiple family members who are Trumpist and refuse to acknowledge that COVID-19 is real and here’s the clincher we all live in Florida!!!

    1. @Tara Drolma Exactly. Critical thinking skills are not taught in American K-12. Rote learning results is what we are seeing. Memorize the talking point, but don’t try to understand what’s behind it. College is where you are taught critical thinking. Or by your parents, if they are college-educated. That’s why more of the college-educated go left.

    2. There is an interesting book called “The True Believer” by Eric Hoffer, which analyses the nature of mass movements. So far it has been rather accurate at explaining the mentality and motivations of the Cult45 followers, even though it was written in 1951. Probably because human nature doesn´t change and it´s the same types of people who are susceptible to these kinds of movements.

    3. @Dementia Joe you mean the travel ban that allowed 40,000 people into the country from china after it was issued?
Besides the outbreak in New York was brought in from Europe.

Yes, it was projected that 2,000,000 could have died if we did nothing to stop the spread.

    1. I honestly cannot see what the fuss is all about, in any other country in the western world, the people would all get some kind of help. Especially America who’s people in the governments are constantly bragging about how far advanced they are, but are causing so much fuss on how to help it’s people it’s a disgrace to be honest with you. It just goes to show, America isn’t has civilised has it leads us to believe and they certainly aren’t has White has they like us to believe they are either. I wish you well my friend take care from Stevie boy in Britain and we ain’t much better either buddy

    2. @The Phoenix The jobs that are all over the place! Don’t pretend you want to work you leech soyboy!

  4. There is a small town Dr. Who is stricken. It took 5 others to replace his small office. When he recovers he has to do a coherent test. Why doesn’t our leader have the same test? And crackpots I’m not saying 5 words. I’m talking mental capacity, there weren’t to many beans in that pot to began with, before experimental drugs.

    1. @Dementia Joe
Can’t write it can you Comrade.

Go ahead, they can only haul you out for a Firing Squad once.

    2. Ralph Soy, prove you are not working for China! If you support Biden you are probably texting from China!

  5. America you’re going to have a spike of Covid deaths a couple weeks after Thanks giving, then again a couple of weeks after Christmas and again a couple of weeks after New year. You aren’t doing anything to try and stop the rate of infection.

    1. Don’t worry, everyone is well armed! The military has lots of nuclear weapons too! Covid should be very frightened!

    2. Seems Christmas is not as big as Thanksgiving there, so hoping not as big a the million vehicle car crash you describe.

  6. It is trump fault, all he do is TRY to play golf while everybody is suffering. But do not worry his day is coming very soon. The devil will have his day

  7. As a Brit the term ‘ambulance companies’ fills me with a sense of dread. The people taking you to hospital in your hour of need should never be operating for profit. That’s just terrifying.

    1. @Stew country songs Stew In my 40 year career in healthcare I’ve seen people financially devastated by healthcare costs if they have a catastrophic illness. Most people’s health coverage is through their employer and if you lose your job and don’t qualify for government coverage you’re screwed.

    2. @Moira McCleary wow..I can’t fathom that..the more I learn about the US the happier I am to live in Canada …I got diagnosed with a throat issue a few years ago ..and received quick and invasive medical help..and didn’t cost me my savings or my sanity..I can’t imagine having the stress of payment on top of an illness..why???

    3. @Stew country songs Stew It’s corporate greed and propaganda the American people have bought into for years. I’m a native of Scotland and have lived in Canada and have relatives in Australia. The word socialism has been portrayed to be communism in the US and people buy into the propaganda due to ignorance.

    4. @Moira McCleary
And yet corporate America and the wealthiest benefit more “socialist” dollars than all other Americans.
I suspect they’re the ones who puts out the most propaganda along with insurance companies.

The Trumps’ and Kurshners’ received millions of dollars from the funds that is supposed to help small business owners meet payroll who have been devastated by Covid-19. And, around a few dozen big businesses (friends/culprits) received 10 million each.

    1. @hugh g rectiongot it from Beau of tje fifth column…interesting channel, I recommend you give him a gander. His videos are short and to the point

  8. God bless the EMTs and the drivers. I have two friends in this field . . . incredible work. Get them the PPE they need.

    1. Can you pay by Card while you’re dying? Oh America what have you become, once you were great but now after four year’s of Trump it’s decline and fall.

    2. In my county the EMT’s are all volunteer. There are several fund raisers every year for equipment expenses they always welcome donations.

    3. In Britain my Dad volunteers (elderly and driving) as a non-emergency taxi service for doctors appointments. The system is co-ordinated by the city counsel.

    4. @hugh g rection You know by Monday Trump has got over $170 Million for his I lost fund. I bet not a dime goes anywhere he’ll put the lot in his pocket. He’s a disgrace.

    5. @Michael Stephen some of it supposed to go the Republican party for future campaigning. But we know how that will turn out. his supporters are totally fooled.

  9. Thank God that in America’s hour of need President Trump made 46 minute video about himself & his baseless Election allegations. Thank you Sir that’s real leadership, smh.
