I would not expect Homeland Security to know the answers to these questions. I would expect HEALTH and Human Services to know more. I certainly would NOT think Pence should be in charge of heading a potential pandemic!

Perhaps not all answers to these questions could be outlined in great detail–but Homeland Security’s stated goal is to prepare for, prevent, and respond to domestic emergencies; this is certainly one gargantuan threat from outside our borders with all the makings of a critical national emergency and one that has been on the USA radar for two months. IMO he appeared unprepared to answer medical strategies. I thought he stumbled a bit.
