Andrew Gordon: Living with schizophrenia

People with severe mental illnesses have up to a 20 year shorter life expectancy than the general population. A report for the Royal College of Psychiatrists & Public Health England is calling for more to be done to address the situation. Labour councillor for Basildon, Andrew Gordon lives with schizophrenia and explains more about factors that could be contributing to the shorter life expectancy.
