  1. It is always wonderful to see grown ups engaging in constructive and mature debate regarding important historical events from our country’s past!

    1. @Bree Doyle That is precisely what he’s doing. He’s aknowledging the protesters that destroyed the Macdonald statue in Montreal and want to destroy the one in Regina. And he’s contributing to a rational discussion. Too bad they aren’t listening.

    1. Same, statues dont mean we agreed with everything a person did, its mainly to remember parts of history. Also, it’s sad, but many bad things happened before great things did it’s part of evolution. We cannot ignore all the bad or try to erase it, its culture, its evolving.

    2. @a lader If he were “desperately” trying to “stay relevant” then he would have jumped on the opposite side. He’s clearly just speaking up on an issue that is deeply important to it. He’s making some rational points.

  2. Protesters aren’t even having a conversation, they’re just yelling.

    1. Quoting Ben Shapiro is one of the quickest possible ways I could think of to make sure no one takes your opinions seriously.

  3. “Diversity……”

    Difference of opinion

    “SHAAAAAAAAAAME”

Flat out disrespectful. Nice job. You sound like ignorant 15 year olds.

  4. The hecklers are just proving his point. Cancel culture isn’t interested in logic or discussion, they just want to drown you out with twitter slogans. It’s too bad that they didn’t bother listening to what he had to say. “If we replace cancel culture with critical thinking, we can have heart-felt conversations and actual dialogue instead of emotional reactions”

  5. I consider myself part of the ‘sane left’, and I’ve never voted Conservative in my life, but I agree with Andrew Scheer. His points are excellent, and a dialogue is possible if the shout-down mob would listen and respond with reason. Agree or disagree with the statue, these mobsters know absolutely nothing about how Western democracy works. They are fragmenting the left.
