@Bree Doyle That is precisely what he’s doing. He’s aknowledging the protesters that destroyed the Macdonald statue in Montreal and want to destroy the one in Regina. And he’s contributing to a rational discussion. Too bad they aren’t listening.

Same, statues dont mean we agreed with everything a person did, its mainly to remember parts of history. Also, it’s sad, but many bad things happened before great things did it’s part of evolution. We cannot ignore all the bad or try to erase it, its culture, its evolving.

I consider myself part of the ‘sane left’, and I’ve never voted Conservative in my life, but I agree with Andrew Scheer. His points are excellent, and a dialogue is possible if the shout-down mob would listen and respond with reason. Agree or disagree with the statue, these mobsters know absolutely nothing about how Western democracy works. They are fragmenting the left.
