Yup before the opened the immigration floodgates in Canada. Everyone had jobs and the was very little homelessness. Then they under cut the job market. Buy flood in the country with low skilled workers
It was not immigration that put all the profits from productivity gains since the 70’s into the hands of the already rich, it was your corrupt politicians.

Canada’s birthrate was already falling off drastically by 1970. Immigration was already ramping because of that.
