  1. You right oral Time Fi Him leave it Yes knowing how Jamaican people think them go say you badmind and a tear down asafa because what you said they don’t agree with

  2. I don’t know why this man ever a try him best to bring down Asafa…but in this life we have many people like him among us … never see the good in others…when he put Jamaica “on the map” so to speak did you give him any form of acknowledgement and If you did mee personally believe it was never from your heart …let us be careful in this life not everyone cheering for us is really doing so …Asafa hon you never rob and kill anyone from what I know to achieve what you have in life so Gwan do you and prayers and blessings are with you and all others from your parents family and the wider society… blessed love to all stay as safe as possible spread cheer every lend a helping hand where and when you can…be a building block and not a stumbling block in anyone’s way💯❤️

    1. Honestly though I think this commentary by Oral is actually a slight way of motivating Asafa to even train harder to ensure that he can do good and quiet the naysayers.
Don’t think Oral have a personal issue but using his platform it helps to PUSH ASAFA to actually do best.

  3. Shelly-Ann and Allyson Felix are in their mid-thirties, still competing.
Justin Gatlin was running at 39 years old, he won the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational with a time of 9.98.
    So what’s the problem?

  4. Mr Maverick remember he said he’s running for himself and his family 👪 so it’s not for the glory of the land or legacy its money making and he feels good within himself that he can go to a few diamond leagues and make some extra cash 💸 💰 just hope he stays fit because it would be embarrassing for him to be taken off in a wheelchair ♿ again

    1. I love Asafa. He was my favourite 100m star no matter what but Is he getting broke? Or he is doing it for fun?

  5. I am an Asafa fan. I do appreciate the sentiment of Oral Tracey (+ any other meaningful views). However, I think if the same views were to be expressed by a different person, with a different tone and better words, perhaps more persons (even some Asafa’s fans) would appreciate it more (not necessarily accept it).

  6. Kim Collins ran 9.93 at the age of 41 and everyone knows Kim Collins don’t have 10% the talent asafa have ! Asafa will be coached by mvp so anything is possible leave the lion 🦁 alone I would love to see him come back and run sub 10 at least 4 more times!!

  7. The thing with Jamaicans is if you critique a famous person they “like,” even if the critique is valid, they think you are “tearing” that person down. In 2021, Asafa’s best time was between 10.4 and 10.5. Now, at 39, do people really expect that he can return to competitive sprinting? Let’s be real.

    1. Yes he knows his body and what he can many people make age defy them 10.4 is not far from a sub 9, easily 4 second less and it’s under 10 seconds

  8. Mr Oral, you did a whole video on this man’s decision to not hang his spikes as yet at his age, then here you go again on a separate platform doing the same, either you’re out of topics to speak on or you do have a pick for Asafa…what sport you did,if any?….leave the man alone sah

  9. 4 seconds less and asafa will be running sub 9 that’s great for his age and how hard is that if he put in the work to run sub 9

  10. Asafa not my runner ..he didn’t represent Usane Bolt on his send off when he was retiring
    I thought that was disrespectful..

  11. Over the years the rounds at these track competitions for men have become real tough, I love Asafa but to run 9sec at every meet at the Diamond League or at World Champs at his age I don’t see it. 😭😔

  12. Maverick left Arafa With him around the young boys and can learn some sprinting technique from him I think it would be a great motivation for them Let it be Even if you fail This will elevate the younger guys them game Not to make a veteran take the spot

  13. Asafa Powell listen to me very clear do what you are doing go and represent yourself do not listen to people it is your body your mind your soul and your heart if you feel like you can continue You need to do so in the name of Jesus big of yourself my brother I am with you 100%

  14. Asafa is and might always be my favorite track athlete so with all due respect to Asafa I don’t think it is a good decision for him to continue running. I don’t want to see him being constantly beaten by the younger guys.
