    1. @Exodus 4:22 It is easier to fool people than it is to convince people they have been fooled.

    2. They know they can’t win so they pass voter suppression laws.
They know this doesn’t last; blatantly disenfranchising the majority by the minority cannot unless they can also effectively crush dissent and control a majority by force.
If we take this to the courts it will land in front of their SCOTUS
if we take to the streets they have shown little restraint or reluctance to roll out the tanks; only a handful stopped them last time; the next time they will ensure those people are gone.
Right wing militias, heavily armed and itching to murder will be working as para-militarie do, performing the dirty work of political violence and murder.
We are following in the footsteps of so many other failed democracies and the Republicans are the useful idiots facilitating it.

  1. Republicans have become so detached from politics, that they are no longer separate by left or right. Now it’s,Trump or not. They are at war with themselves, so we just have to wait, and see who survives. And then destroy them.

    1. @Dino That’s what it looks like from the outside. They are purging oldschool Republicans just because they don’t support Trump. They’re even purging Republicans who like Trump but aren’t willing to lie about the election for him.

What does the situation look like to you?

    2. @Andy Lord For what little it’s worth, in my opinion Herr Trump has never been either Democrat or Republican, merely an opportunistic self publicist and wannabe dictator.
He has aligned himself with all sorts of groups whenever he’s seen a use for them.
A fair weather friend, at best.

  2. They absolutely know what the truth is. What they are doing is knowingly making a pact to lie.

    1. They walk the dark path of unnatural deception, and worship the Earth’s destruction through their decadent ways..

    2. @Mephistopheles Count Caliostro – There are so many similarities with Hitler and 1930’s to 1945 Germany it’s scary. I watched a Hitler doc last weekend, and they could’ve easily been talking about Trump. Right down to the amphetamine addiction and subsequent psychosis related to it.

    3. They’re doing what they’re doing because their constituency allows it to happen.

  3. Nicolle, your statement of the threat to the homeland by the LIE is well said and thus so so scary!!

    1. @Don Clayton Hopefully the time taken is to get all the ‘t’s crossed and ‘i’s dotted, not because it’s going under the already lumpy rug. Cross fingers.

    2. Another failed psy op. Wake up already so we all can move on with our lives

    3. @1776 SAR SUSAN CONSTANT Just like the people in Germany said in 1932 when Hitler first tried to take over the government….. Wake and read your history!!!!!

    4. @Don Clayton Yes, I’m sure that the Germans of the late 1940’s were wishing that they had put up a better fight against those Germans that took the Hitler oath (Führereid) in the 1930’s. It’s quite apparent that the Trump Republicans have taken a Trump oath.
t is hard to believe that 80% of Republicans, are so brain-dead and feeble minded as to have taken the Trump oath and are believers in the “alternative facts” created and promulgated by Trump and his disciples. Alternative Facts are Lies.

    1. One of the larger sins of the Roman Catholic church. Having a beautiful singing voice as a young boy in Italy.

  4. “Before mass leaders seize the power to fit reality to their lies, their propaganda is marked by its extreme contempt for facts as such, for in their opinion fact depends entirely on the power of man who can fabricate it.”
― Hannah Arendt, The Origins of Totalitarianism
Ever hear of the acronym “DARVO” regarding behavior of abusers?
    Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim/Offender.
It’s also the root of modern “conservative” politics.
“The embrace, by working Americans, of policies that hurt their own interests can be understood on the basis of Ferenczi’s model of identification with the aggressor. Intrafamilial child abuse is often followed by the abuser’s denial. Children typically comply with abuse, in behavior and by embracing the abuser’s false reality, under threat of emotional abandonment. Similarly in the sociopolitical sphere, increasing threats of cultural and economic dispossession have pressed working Americans to adopt an ideology that misrepresents reality and justifies their oppression. In society as in the family, there can be a compensatory narcissistic reaction to forfeiting one’s rights that, ironically, encourages feelings of power and specialness while facilitating submission.”

“When effortful, deliberate thought is disengaged, endorsement of conservative ideology increases.”

“If all you had ever felt toward another person were the cold wish to “win,” how would you understand the meaning of love, of friendship, of caring? You would not understand. You would simply go on dominating, and denying, and feeling superior. Perhaps you would experience a little emptiness sometimes, a remote sense of dissatisfaction, but that is all.”
― Martha Stout, The Sociopath Next Door

“You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.”
    ― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

    1. @Gyrene_asea
Yeah, I’m guessing current or retired marine, lots of water? Hopefully a couple of decent spots for shore leave?

    2. @Anne Murphy wow, talk about conspiracy theories..lol. so funny whats been written in these comments 75 million in the US and over 250 million worldwide work hard with family values that the left have now deemed racist and tyrannical. Which is wrong.

    3. @Shawn Forrest Ever hear of the acronym “DARVO” regarding behavior of abusers?
      Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim/Offender.

  5. The GOP is where human decency, shame, common sense, patriotism, and the truth goes to die.

    1. @Dino nope, he had them in the system for 72 hours
      Trump purposely separated families
USCIS law states to request affirmative asylum a person must be on American soil within its borders

    2. @Tania Burton – SSSSHHH! You’re give away the secret. Let him continue to grab the GOP@ssys! Hopefully his touch will have the same effect and they’ll go the way of his airline, casinos, steaks, vodka, university, golf courses . . . . etc

  6. She can save her career by working for the people she represents. I don’t like her political views, but I respect her for sticking to her guns on this one.😉

    1. The Republican Party is eating its own tail like pointy white hood wearing ouroboros.

    2. @Maria Powers
European-American hypocrisy started as soon as you came to take this part of the world in the name of your “religion”.

  7. I always liked Ashley’s reporting. Of course, Nicholle ain’t no slouch, either! Keep up the great work!!!

  8. What is the punishment for lying about actual events? Should there be an investigation into why these elected officials are lying to their constituency? Is this the FBI’s mandate to investigate threats to society’s fabric? I wonder if this is happening under cover of darkness like an anaconda awaiting its feast?

    1. They act in the court of public opinion where Truth is secondary to the perceived facts, secondary also to the prize of control, and self-enabled powah. It is only that they ignore their accountability to the public, and any consequence, because they enable each other together in their common avarice.

    2. Those people want to be lied to. If they were required to accept the truth, they’d have to start over from day 1.

    1. Fox propaganda has been feeding them toxic conspiracy theories for decades, the rest of the right wing echo chamber has joined in. The cult are thoroughly convinced that all their troubles are the fault of the evil left and they are ready to do something violent about it.

The wealthy have always favored dictatorships that they control, they enter into a corrupt symbiotic relationship that secures and expands their wealth and power.

  9. Where do these people see headed ? Do they not understand what would happen if right isn’t right anymore ?
Snowball effect taking us down. Cheney is showing us how deep & far reaching this blind , deaf & dumb political cancer has spread .

  10. This is so concerning. I have been thinking for a month or so, that there are people, whether wittingly or not, trying to do Putin’s work and tear the country apart.

    1. Putin is nothing in my opinion, You use Putin or Trump or whatever to paint your false pictures

  11. It’s the money that they made while trumpet lied..they can’t find a path back to that with truth…
