@tom 99.8% is the confirmed case survival rate for those under 60 years of age in Canada. The number of infections is currently unknown and can only be estimated. The case fatality rate is a known figure, from the government’s own data, so it cannot argue against it.

As much as I like Dr. Marla I would like to remind her this is a novel virus but but not a novel situation except for the ridiculous response from the government. Marla danced around the questions very well, almost like the script was ready to go. She didn’t get herself in any trouble with her answers and gets to collect the pay cheque. They always forget the most important question to the Doctors…do you agree that the response by government to this relatively mild virus was commensurate to the risk. I can tell you what Dr. Shapiro’s response as a health professional in private is. “It’s nonsense”.

Hi Dr. Shapiro, here are my questions:
(1) What cycle threshold (Ct) value is being used for PCR testing for COVID in Canada?
(2) Has the Ct value been changed at any point, and if so, why?
(3) Why do Ontario and B.C. use an absurdly broad definition of a COVID death?
(4) What would the COVID fatality total be in Ontario and B.C. if those provinces used the WHO’s recommended definition, which is actually medically reasonable?
(5) Why are some provinces not publicly reporting the number of COVID cases and deaths among long-term care facilities?
