  1. OMG, this is horrible. I can’t believe the amount of suffering this is causing. What is going on in 2020???

    1. God is restoring morality and values in the world. Time to get people come back to God, they have lost the plot, dems as prime example..

    2. @J Groovy
lol the rich have already gotten tge middle class to hate, look down upon the poor decades ago. You’re late and their WRONG!!!

    3. It could have been a lot worse. It wasn’t a fuel bomb or a nuclear device. Lebanon will rebuild with the help of the rest of the world. I would love to see Israel step up and take a major role in helping them rebuild.

    1. The human race is strong. The 3000 injured, were probably near dead, but we dont give up that easily.

    2. Muz Wot some say 50 most say 70 now some say 60 THE MEDIA WAS NEVER A RELIABLE SOURCE US AS THE PEOPLE WENT DOWN THIS LANE B4

    3. @T s from my research so far it had been stored illegally in a warehouse for six years. A variety of materials were stored adjacent and shipped but this may have been AMFO (ammonium nitrate mixed w fuel oil & aluminum flake). Very explosive but the orange smoke after is a puzzler. Lots more manifests to look through because AMFO doesn’t detonate dirty so something else blew up or burned w this. May never know if it was set by Mossad or mercenaries. Beruit’s political sustem is a mess of gangs basically each supported by Iran (Hezballah) US, and some unknown supports probably Saudi. It’s a bankrupted country.

    1. guillermo gouldburn I know I looked forward this year, A new decade happy thoughts then BANG, You couldn’t make it up could you really I dread what comes next

    2. In my opinion from the color of the explosion and detonation created a pressure wave best illustrated by a ammonium nitrate or possibly perchlorate or other detonating unstable by products of burning.

    3. It’s only going to get worse. The time to act was 50 years ago. But we did nothing but feed the greed machine. Tough times ahead, get ready.

    4. I thought things were looking up, starting a new job tomorrow. I hope this is not a harbinger of what’s to come.

  2. 2020 is the freaking worst year ever.
Much love to those injured and the families of those lost. 🙌🙏

    1. @SaveTheTrees I’m a selfish person. I care more about things in my lifetime than 80 years prior. Not that I don’t care about things in the past. Just not as much as things in the present. 😏 😛😝

    1. @cornell … TY. Also, look at the delusion in here. And, those same people ponder why the world is in trouble. EDIT Ponder, is the wrong word for most people in here… wonder.

    2. @netzoned Pointing out facts, instead of ignoring them, may prevent this from happening again. How many people DIED from this? How many more people will die because of the aftermath? Yes, it’s sad that people lost their lives because of this, but ignoring the facts and joking about what happened isn’t going to bring the dead back, or justify why they died for human negligence.

    3. netzoned I’m not in a habit forgetting our past history and the atrocities of some nations and peoples.

    4. @LightxHeaven … You are not in the habit of sticking to the facts at hand. And still, not a single condolence or well wish. Figures.

  3. Its already so much devastation there already! My heart breaks for the people of Beirut! With corona and the economic devastation. Prayers!

    1. @Shawn Murphy I have have seen those compression waves but on a much smaller scale when bombs were dropped in Việt Nam.

    2. @Shawn Murphy I was sitting on the hood of my ambulance when a 90mm round air burst about 75 yards from me, the shock from that threw me off the hood and a three inch long chunk of shrapnel opened the side of my steel pot from the front to the back as if it had been made of aluminium. I do not remember how much the explosive charge in it weighed. We were lucky that nobody else was hit by the flying shrapnel that day. It was a friendly fire incident. Still have that piece somewhere amongst my things. This happened in 1972.

    1. Virginia O’Flaherty did u know that apperantly if u die in 2020 covid-19 is marked in ur death certificate???…wonder why ,…

  4. Crazy explosion, must be many dead. I feel for the people of beirut. What on earth is next for 2020? We are definatly in an transitional period. Hopefully for the best.

  5. That shock wave is one of the most terrifying things I’ve seen… Even sfx couldn’t recreate that…. You can see the ring that is propelled forward

    1. @Adam Plentl Where do you see “buildings peeled up off the ground” ???
The closest by are immediately covered in a white cloud you can’t see what’s happening.
When the wave progresses you see roofs going up in the air, so where do you see “buildings peeled up off the ground” ???

  6. omg it was massive i live in cyprus ayianapa and heard it so loud i was at work and suddenly heard a huge blast everyone came out of there home and work and was thinking it was some kind of an attack. later someone told us it was an explosion in Beirut. may god help the effected people 🙏🏻

    1. It’s near Hiroshima level. Hiroshima bomb was a 15-kiloton device. This Beirut explosion was a 2.5-kiloton in terms of energy released in a snap.

  7. Too bad all of msdnc’s staff weren’t huddled around that warehouse when it went off. It took a huge explosion and numerous dead people to get msdnc to “report” anything but 24/7 trump bashing! Russia/collusion, impeachment, Christine blasey ford, comey, muller, stormy, aveneti….

  8. It’s crazy how they’re government had tons chemicals right next to millions of people. It makes you just wonder what chemicals and stuff do we have right next to us in America

    1. I heard rumours the US is full of nuclear weapons that are thousands times stronger than this that explosion in Beirut. But if something like that happens in the US you at least know who will not take responsibility for it.
