What about teachers, staff, school bus drivers? The kids then bring it home to their parents and grand parents. All young and healthy, of course 🙄. Here in Switzerland with a lot less cases (less than 10 a day – which is still too much) have opened schools slowly and part time at the beginning, to get used to the situation. We didn‘t open all at once. Now we have more cases (still less than 100 a day for the whole country) and we‘re having stricter regulations. Masks in public transport and confined spaces are now mandatory. We‘ll see how it goes after the summer break, the option to close again is there. This is regulated via the federal government, the local governments don‘t have too much to say – which is highly unusual for us! I‘m glad we‘ve had that leadership, even when they made some mistakes (learning by doing, but at least learning, sorry to say it, but the US does not seem capable to learn). Stay safe and wear masks!!!
