Those cops did take something from those two kids. A piece of their dignity.

  2. Oppressed people all over the world stand with black Americans.

  3. For the record, Morehouse and Spellman are two of the top historically AA universities….Morehouse is for men, Spellman for women… you need be at or near the top… so these kids are invested in their future…not this crap they went through

peter ted your really excusing this behavior?? I get they needed to take action, but not lash out like that. And it doesn’t matter what race they were. It was their action.

    • Are you saying they did this? If so, they didn’t. Stop spreading lies. They were in a traffic jam and told by police to move forward. Then all the sudden the cops started running at them and swarming on them. Some of them should be charged with torture.

peter ted it’s not about race no more it’s about abuse of power.

But aren’t we tired of them telling us they don’t have money to take care of the homeless but we end up having to pay for police misconduct in the millions, we could be investing in infrastructure and housing or anything else that is going to help the collective.

  6. They bout to get PAID!!! Take that money and go straight to therapy. And enjoy the rest of your lives. Don’t settle!

  7. The video of these young people’s attack by law enforcement literally broke my heart and I immediately began to cry at the injustice and Taniyah’s cries just echoed in my head and heart. I’m glad that they are charged but we need convictions. Officers being convicted of their crimes will help to send the message that it is not ok and it time for change.

    • I saw this on tik tok. Alot of tik tokers made videos before heading out to protest to let us know, “they are not suicidal, they will not runaway, if you dont hear from me please look for me. It is foul play” so many had live updates. So many had made videos walking home. One was attacked walking home beforee curfew 6pm only to be attacked by police for breaching curfew which switched to 5pm and that kid didnt know curfew had changed.

    • It’s so beyond past time 😰

    • Renice, you cried for David Dorn too? How about for this teen girl: https://youtu.be/5-eAr9h_jO0

These young people are literally still in shock…

    • @Redridge07 small percentage of what? The thousands of them behind them looting? I get peaceful protest. It’s for a good reason and good people are involved, but people have stopped caring because of how easy a protest turns into a riot. If it was a small percentage then more of this bullshit would be stopped by those groups of good people right away. Why is it you see a building burning and you have a full crowd stopping the firefighters from putting out a fire and a child dying inside. That happened! Y’all disappoint everybody and most of you choose to be ignorant for your own personal gains. The country is tired of you and your protest causing riots!

@Brandon Anderson what! They stated that they were just driving through and even if they weren’t then what happened to the was unacceptable. Why would anyone intentionally put themselves through that?

    And trump calls protesters thugs.

    • Trump clearly said Antifa and the radical left are the thugs who instigated the riots.

    • Heith Watkins | June 4, 2020 at 7:43 PM | Reply

      That’s a lie.
President Trump stands with peaceful protests. He said that numerous times.
The called the rioters, Antifa and looters thugs. 🖕🖕🖕

I was born in Atlanta and I was horrified when I saw what happened to these 2 young adults. In my 42 years on this earth I’ve seen Georgia Cops do some horrible things and this is yet another to the list. They served a no knock warrant to the wrong house and killed a grandmother as she sat in her lazy boy. Then got caught trying to cover it up.
They shot a flash bang into a baby’s crib and hurt that child but refused to pay medical bills (another warrant served and guess what the person they were looking for didn’t live there) Georgia could be an amazing city IF they cleaned up the police and got the bad ones out!
I’m scared for people of color in my state and they are right to be scared and angry!

  16. These are strong kids who hopefully will have lots of support and will stay strong!

Tasker in the back for 8 hours is definitely torture.

Just so people are less confused, a taser “prong” is what he should have said. And it isn’t electrifying anyone after the first few seconds. Still horrible actions but trying to give technical information to fill the gaps I see here

    • Frank Russell | June 4, 2020 at 6:35 PM | Reply

@Derp Friend So it didnt hurt?

    • What is a ‘tasker’?

    • Frank Russell it’s almost like having fish hooks stuck in your back for 8 hrs, if you could try to remove it, it’s designed to rip the flesh, from first hand experience, I can empathize with with this young man

  19. I’m almost convinced you have to be dumb to become a cop because baby i just don’t understand 🤷🏽‍♀️
