Avian flu detected in Ontario, poultry farms on high alert

Poultry farmers in Waterloo Region and across southern Ontario are on alert, after two cases of H5N1 avian influenza were detected this week.

According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the premises have been placed in quarantine and a bio security control zone has been established within a 10 kilometre radius.

  2. Fine by me, I just don’t purchase the things you guys hike prices on anymore. If you’d rather earn zero dollars on things, keep it up. Have fun affording your lives, medium to large families. One of the best things about you guys tanking your own systems is having the least to lose and watching you all lose what you didn’t respect to begin with.

    1. You should be directing your ire at the federal government and its inflationary monetary policies.

      The Liberal-NDP government still hasn’t figured out that rapidly expanding the currency supply causes rapid inflation, despite this being basic economics.

  5. Must be because the chickens aren’t wearing N95 masks and keeping 6ft apart. They also need 5 vaccines that won’t help but is needed anyway. If they go outside for fresh air they need to quarantine in a hotel for 2 weeks as well.
