A Metro Vancouver couple is left facing thousands of dollars in real estate commission fees, even though the sale never went through.

  1. Wording in offers to purchase contract has to be looked over carefully. Change the wording if necessary in the contract with initials beside the changes. One of the biggest wordings in these contracts is when it says commission paid on closure of sale. You should change that to on completion of sale.

  2. Unbelievable! Take it to a lawyer , that’s obvious ! More fees . Real estate agents are over paid as it is . This is very scary .
