hank aaron’s heyday was a little before my time but i did see his hr that broke babe ruth’s record ( bonds does not own the hr record as all BB fans would agree, it belongs soley to mr hank aaron) ..from all accounts a kind man and a class act..a true southern gentleman! rip mr aaron..

This man seems to be the definition of a Gentleman, just as Rep Elijah Cummings and Rep John Lewis should be remembered. In his own way, intentional or now, Hank Aaron did a great service for civil rights and racial equity, just by being himself.
Just lost Phil Niekro and now the Hammer Hank Aaron. He had the quickest wrists known in baseball. No secret plus he was built strong and broad shoulders.
The TRUE home run king !
