Bash plays Biden campaign promise to Psaki: Why haven’t we seen this?

White House press secretary Jen Psaki defended the Biden administration's decision to not directly sanction Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the brutal death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, saying there are "more effective ways" to hold Saudi Arabia accountable for the killing.

    1. @David Kempton Oh Biden is and has been a corporate democrat which is why he can claim to be able to work with certain republicans which means the corporatists in the republican party. Methinks many out there don’t really get this aspect as you stated. .

    1. hey, what’s the diff? Neither one is guilty, that is a GOP smear game they have used for DECADES. The first ‘complaint’ is no more than an old man hitting on a young woman politely. No fear of job loss unless someone from legal prompts you, “Did you maybe think your job was in danger, hmm?”
See, the problem IS, the GOP’s record of FACTS is so ABYSMAL, that NOTHING they say can be believed. Photos/videos? Doctored. Testimony? Paid or retributive. The GOP has no honor, no trust, no faith, no allegiance to anything except power and profit. They ARE, in fact, the Enemy Of The People AND the Enemy Of The State. They MUST be disenfranchised – or shot, you choose.

  1. “urgency”? That was the case on impeachment, but not on covid relief, which the majority of is going to pork instead of the regular folks who really need it.

    1. @Paula Eppley Apparently Rhonda Kay doesnt want to know anything about Nancy Pelosi holding up stimulus 🤷🏾‍♀️. 😂

    2. @red sky–Wage increases and college exemptions? These are things that have zero to do with covid. They shouldn’t be tied to this legislation in any way. If “college exemptions” for you translates into forcing taxpayers to cover debt they had NOTHING to do with, while letting those who agreed to pay those debts simply walk away, then I completely support Republican congresspeople who oppose it.

    3. Both parties always add pork for their special interest groups because that is how they make all that filthy lucre that their actual job doesn’t pay. If bills were single bills, then one would be a party to an argument or not, instead we have party to ideology. Not one bill ever passed is empty on pork, ever and that is where most disagreements on bills come from because both have been paid by special interest to add their favors in said bills. .and, all pork is paid by the same people regardless of party pushing it. One bill it could be republicans and the next one be democrats, but the same person paying for that lovely, greasy pork. .

    4. @Craig Crawford exactly, and they distract us with nonsense so we think the other average American is our enemy while they pick our pockets-there’s your bipartisanship!

  2. FEB/2021. USA carried out his first military action, with airstrikes targeting Iranian-backed fighters in Syria. Mary Ellen O’Connell, a professor at Notre Dame Law School, criticised the US attack as a violation of international law. “The United Nations charter makes absolutely clear that the use of military force on the territory of a foreign sovereign state is lawful only in response to an armed attack on the defending state for which the target state is responsible,” she said. “None of those elements is met in the Syria strike.”

    1. Strangely after when his country was doing so well he was going to move away from the American dollar to the gold standard. Gaddafi also did the same. His tryranical leadership. Free health care, free homes, free education, going down a packed street , standing out of a sun roof while everyone cheers his name.

Luckily we have left the middle East much better off 🤔

    2. @Rik rik the gold standard… do you know how economically ignorant that idea is? There is not enough gold on the planet to cover the US economy at its size…. are you Fing stupid?

    3. @Erik Anderson The value of money is determined by the demand for it, just like the value of goods and services. … When the demand for Treasurys is high, the value of the U.S. dollar rises. Out of the 3 ways this is calculated, the third way is through foreign exchange reserves. That is the amount of dollars held by foreign governments.

So it’s twice as bad. You have a country your paying dollars to for there oil.

  3. America: we need help lol
Biden & Dems: ok we’ll do the thing to help you

    1. @Donaldo another idiot. Man, that thing already transports diluted bitumen (refined tar sands, diluted) from Canada, and synthetic crude that we refine in the US in maybe Nebraska? mixed together…ALREADY. The new XL makes the trip south both shorter and even faster because of a shorter length of pipe AND larger diameter pipe would be joined to the old line. The new section would have light crude injected from refineries in northern US and travel south to refineries in Oklahoma and Texas? pretty sure. Now…the tar sands are from Canada only, the rest is ours…and the destination is OURS. Most of the benefit is to US…US…Also, nobody is going to quit using it…almost every single product you libtards use is made from hydrocarbons…it isn’t just lube and fuel. EDIT: everyone uses tar sands…it’s mined and refined differently making it more expensive…BUT we use it, it’s in our gasoline. The only differences that exist in oil are light crude and sulphur crude…the sulphur crude, mainly from the middle east is ONLY USED to make diesel. Light crude comes mainly from Europe and is used for EVERYTHING ELSE…gasoline, plastics, textiles, you name it…

    2. @Donaldo you need to learn about your subject matter there son. Don’t be a know it all, and rude to boot…when you don’t actually know what your talking about smh.

    1. I dont understand why there was ever a need for that question to be asked? Jen Psaki is not the press secretary for the governor Cuomo. I seriously doubt that Former President Trump office would’ve been asked this question. I seriously doubt that Psaki has even been updated with current information regarding these allegations.

    2. @phillbucs Trump’s administration was constantly asked to opine on what was being said or done by other Republicans.

    1. @MAD MAX1985 They have caught on, it’s why Twitter has been flooded with Biden voter remorse posts too bad that people fell for it in the first place though

  4. US towards Saudi Arabia: “We’re going to hold them accountable for human rights abuses of their government . . . . .”
US towards China concentration camps and human rights abuse: “The genocide against Uighur Muslims is just a culture difference.”

The hypocrisy of this government is incomprehensible!

    1. @boss 630 2:45 “can you promise Americans the minimum wage will be raised?”
“We are committed to trying bla bla bla”

  5. The millionaires in Congress don’t want the ordinary people to have more money. But they love giving more and more money to the rich

    1. This is the Heart of Man, desperately wicked, Who can know It? God’s Word is Truth and He Alone KNOWS Every Chamber of the Heart! Peace
