    1. He laughed, it was a joke. The joke is CNN is attempting to to get him to trash Fauci and the Dr. called him out and said what he said. I laughed at it too.

    2. dean comley Lol! 🙂 In all fairness though he was looking down and shuffling through papers at the beginning and didn’t seem to be be aware he was actually on air at all so i read his question as more of a literal one versus how should i spin this.

  1. Peter “Dunning-Kruger” Navarro. With people like that, a little information is all they need to assume they can take great leaps.
It worked for Mr. Magoo. Too bad he’s not the “acting” head instead of this guy.

    1. @serruptitiousfool I doubt anyone who works for or supports trump even know what Dunning Kruger is. Freddie’s brother?

  2. “We’re off the air now right “ 🤣 wish i could’ve seen his opinions if he thought they were off the air..

    1. My thoughts exactly! I wish he would have been tricked into believing he was off the air. Let me get this straight our government is pushing this drug, but are not taking the responsibility if people die from taking it!?

    2. @David Knell Because it’s fundamental for the other person to know whether they are “on the record” or “on background” or “off the record” when talking to a godless journo. It goes to the heart of journalistic integrity. It’s a fact that people will be more guarded when they are on the record or not.

  3. “There’s a control group where 80% do well and 50% don’t…” I don’t think he’s done much math since he got that PhD of his back in 1986

    1. This specific medicine has the potential to kill as a side effect. Such a medicine that has the potential to kill as a side effect must ONLY be given when it is known to work for a disease. And it still isn’t known to work for COVID-19 specifically.

It works against what it was designed for, against malaria, and when people have that illness, malaria, it is given to THEM because they would die from the malaria anyway. Although the medicine has the potential to kill as a side effect, the benefit outweighs the risk relating to malaria because it is KNOWN to work against malaria.

With COVID-19, it is NOT known if it works. So the benefit does NOT outweigh the risk. That’s what doctors and scientists are saying. And Trump sycophants and political “scientists” are ignoring that.

Taken for COVID-19, at this premature time before the science is in, it could kill more people than it helps. It could kill more people taking it than had they simply fought off the COVID-19 without it. What is so difficult to understand about that?

    2. @D SP
Because that’s simply NOT true. You very much did a great job articulating your point, however you leave out specific facts. IT’S ONLY DANGEROUS IF YOU’RE ALREADY DIAGNOSED WITH CERTAIN HEART PROBLEMS. If you’re to take hydroxychloraquin, #1 , you’ve already seen a Dr.
#2, The Dr. has deemed it necessary that you’d benefit more for taking it.
#3, It’s already approved by the FDA.

You make it sound like you can pick this up at the grocery store and just take it. If this is soooooo terrible as you falsely make claims of, then why did Andrew Cuomo just put in for a larger shipment of the hydroxychloraquin TODAY??? Why??? Because it’s a way better NET positive. WTF is wrong with you people?? Because orange man says something, you run the other way by default???

    3. IKETINKNOCKER, people that listen to Trump are not the type to go to doctors. They’re the type to self prescribe. And if they can’t get their hand on the stuff, they’ll ingest fish tank cleaner, because they only have ears for Trump.

That was, is, and always will be the problem with Trump supporters. They ONLY listen to him, when 90% of the time he is spouting nonsense, in this case which has already killed people listening to him.

Let the doctors talk, and let the medical scientists talk. Only listen to them in a pandemic. Block out Trump’s voice, and the voices of his family, his son in law, and his political “scientist” sycophants.

    1. The pharma company that makes Hydroxychloroquine, Novartis, paid Michael Cohen access for Trump. That’s why this criminal scumbag has been pushing it so hard. Freaking soulless criminals

    1. Spookum Rozay yes they bought too much of this stuff and now nowhere to use it.
They Just don’t want to waste this beautiful medicine so the American patients have to swallow the pills.

  4. Imagine a guy just got into a car accident, brought to a hospital, then this PhD Navarro comes and say to this guy:” Hi, I think you are ok!”
The guy: “Thanks doc, what’s your speciality?”
Navarro: “I hold a PhD in economics.”
The guy: “??? GET THE FK OUTTA HERE!!!”

    1. Equivalency is more like a guy is about to get run over by a bus and another guy warns him to move and he asks why and what’s your specialty. He responds by saying I have a PhD in common sense and original guy says get the f out a here and gets run over by the bus. Hydroxychloroquine is very safe drug used for 65 years and proven to work against COVID-19. Survey taken of 6,000+ doctors treating for COVID-19 voted this drug as most effective. It was by doctors all over Asia and look at their numbers.

    1. I suppose he thinks he’ll have everyone fooled with the title social scientist lol.. Which basically equals… His major is sociology, I think the old word for that was philosophy

  5. “There is science going on…”…It is hard to believe so much stupidity in the Trump administration. Unbelievable.
Of course if someone goes to the hospital, in the fear of death they will want to try because it has been said that it might work. If someone dies from the drug, I want to see who are they going to blame. The democrats?

  6. “We’re off the air, right?”
What was he going to say off the air that he wouldn’t on the air?

    1. “just between you and I John, I don’t actually believe in anything I’m about to say, it’s just that my Boss likes it when I come up with these ideas that makes him look smart but you and I know are dangerous and outlandish. Please don’t tell your viewers that, I would like to keep my job”

  7. Everytime another one of these ‘jokers’ speaks, America is shamed. Where are the expert’s????

    1. The experts are censored by your government… Didn’t you see the “See the question Trump wouldn’t let Dr. Fauci answer” video?

    2. hello mandy i hope you and your family are healthy i am an emergency room physician and i am also a former marine and was forced to take the anti malarial drug while in service to the MARINE CORPS….MY ADVICE IS TO NOT TAKE THAT MEDICATION..SPREAD IT AROUND…THERES NO PROOF THAT MEDICATION WORKS….BUT THE BAD EFFECTS ARE REAL….

  8. Was this jerk really trying to shoehorn the “alternative facts” soundbite in here? FFS! Even in a crisis, the arrogance of him putting his own opinion out there on a par with experts in this field.

    1. Francisco Abreu They are not yelling it from the rooftops because there haven’t been extensive double blind studies done for them to know for sure. It doesn’t change the fact that based on the mechanism of action of this drug that doctors can see how it could help. Unfortunately we don’t have the time to do extensive testing before using something so the next best thing is to take a drug that has been approved and worked for other things associated with pulmonary inflammation etc. All I’m saying is that doctors ARE using it and i can understand why.

    2. @Glen Fansler I UNDERSTAND that the drug is USED for “other things” and approved by the FDA for them. I have Lupus and take it as a matter of fact. Also if a person who has CV-19 is given this drug and their immune system is “suppressed” by this drug but that is not what their issue is then what happens? I know the side affects of this drug, I speak from experience..

    3. @Briza Ac Why do you have to be so nasty to Glen? A civil conversation is the “mature way”. Grow up..

    4. Barbara Roberts When inflammation is what’s going to kill you i can imagine decreasing it is a priority. Perhaps that is where concurrent antibiotics comes into play. Luckily that is not up to us to figure out. It is up to the medical professionals on the front line who are treating the patients and who know their health history, their labs etc. The healthcare professionals want the best outcomes for their patients so i have faith they are choosing to do this for those whom it could possibly benefit. Stay safe out there everyone. I hope we can all get through this stronger and perhaps more united. We are all going to need each other more than ever. Kindness and love.

  9. If any politicians response starts off with…”we’re off the air..right?” You just know it’s going to be some b*llsh*it.

    1. Right, the solution is being found in Iranian University Imam reza , The black seeds mentioned in quran are being used the media is hiding iran progress as of maximum pressure by trump just they dont want people to beleive that iran has almost found it. Google ” black seeds” in iran

  10. It’s not his job to recommend medicine
Stop recommending pills you’re probably making money on

    1. whitetower67, this specific medicine has the potential to kill as a side effect. Such a medicine that has the potential to kill as a side effect must ONLY be given when it is known to work for a disease. And it still isn’t known to work for COVID-19 specifically.

    2. @whitetower67 “The data are really just at best suggestive,” Anthony Fauci said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” Sunday. “There have been cases that show there may be an effect … and there are others to show there’s no effect…. So I think in terms of science, I don’t think we could definitively … say it works.”

    3. D SP yep thats why trump and his bogus task force dont care. if they give them and they die thjey were going to die anyway. then if they live it’s because they took pill. but maybe they would have lived with out pill anyway.

    4. why did trump buy up all the pills?. so they can have control if it were to somehow get approved. but mean time people that need it for other illnesses. hoarder and then price gouge. i heard pharmacies are out for people who need them.

  11. I’m an Emergency Specialist DNP, never say I’m a “doctor”, so STFU, stay in your lane Navaro! 🖕
