@Gilberto TX USA If we didn’t have corporations local businesses would take care of the needs of the consumers in their area. More wealth would be spread out and shared among the communities where it is needed. Instead, you have huge multinational corporations who set up shop in a small town, outcompete all the local businesses because their wealth and power allows them to undercut the market and offer more, those shops close down, and one business controls the market in that area leading to stagnation. All the money it generates goes offshore into a tax haven and everyone is poorer for it. It really amazes me how anybody can defend large entities gaining more and more power over our lives. Just wait, mega corporations will just become another form of government, making laws through lobbying and donations that benefit them at the cost of everybody else
