  1. The one that got away; President Sanders

    • It is tooooooo bad, that Bernie is up in age. He’ll be needed for decades to come, however, I am hopeful that O’Casio is taking up his banner.

Every republican president has given a recession but this takes the cake 🎂

    When will Americans learn ?

    • If only Americans had in 2016 and 2020 a presidential candidate with name recognition whose top priority was universal health care in the US. I am sure they would have shown how intelligent they are and had him win by a landslide.

  3. Monetizing human life is not unlike treating humans as a commodity. Is this just a holdover from the long tradition of slavery in the USA?

You can’t have a healthy, strong society unless You have healthy citizens.

    • I remember reading when WWI broke out and England wanted to draft soldiers, they found that too many were not healthy enough to serve, which supposedly played a part in the health care issue. I don’t know if it is true, didn’t research it yet.

Why didn’t Joe China condemn white supremacy, antifa and blm?

Also will you racists be bailing out Daniel Harris the blm supporter who almost kidnapped the corrupt Michigan Democrat governor? Or do you only bail out people who burn down African-American and Mexican-American owned businesses, and attack innocents?

@M G If it will become the law, then you will have to pay. Just like I pay for tons of things that I will never use and/or that I object.
If you were smart, you would ask: “Why would I WANT a universal health care system in my country?”.
And the simple answer would be: because it provides better medical results (cold hard facts!), and it costs significantly less to all people who are in those income levels that they are even bothered by medical expenses. If this is not you, then you should not be bothered anyway. Win-win.

  6. Man, Sanders would have totally trashed Trump and the entire #GreedyOligarchsParty in this election.

    • And if the SCOUTS says that forcing Americans to pay a fine violets the Commerce clause of the Constitution and they Rule that part of the ACA Unconstitutional. That ruling will stand and how can they pass a single payer and not Outlaw Private insurance?

  8. Trump will leave office if he loses, if we have to drag him out by his toenails.

  9. It’s horrible & sad that the one politician that truly cares about people & policy is called the radical.

    • The reason his position is considered radical left wing is not because of Republicans, it’s because of Democrats that believe in Republican ideas and talking points.

If Democrats were really for the working class they wouldn’t have adopted the Republican healthcare plan the provides insurance companies a massive increase of customers.

If Democrats were really for the working class they’d spend the money to advertise to people the difference between a socialist/communist government and social government programs.

If they were for the working class they could erode the Republican base with M4A, Free public college and trade schools, 1 year paid maternity or sick leave.

But they don’t because of how your elections are funded and by whom.

The US is so backwards and that’s the reason Europeans have slowed or don’t immigrate to the US.

    • Exactly.

    • I call him a commie, but radical works too.

    • Exactly, that says something about America. They talk about freedom, but in fact a poorly health system is no freedom at all! Some things need to be arranged bij the government. It looks like americain people only think left or right , but there is a lot in the middle….

    • No, he should be called an evil communist. You want to see a wasteful, cruel system? Let tge government run it.
If it comes to that, the tree of liberty will be watered in blood.

  12. The fact that America chooses a system that isn’t cost effective, keeps large proportions of the population sick and out of the workforce, is so incredibly idiotic! It restricts the potential economic growth for the country. If you’re conservative or liberal you don’t have to care about your fellow citizens…just make a rational financial decision!

    • If only Americans had in 2016 and 2020 a presidential candidate with name recognition whose top priority was universal health care in the US. I am sure they would have shown how intelligent they are and had him win by a landslide.

  13. Bernie should have been the one against Trump.

    • Agree personally with you, but still many Dems are so very fearful of the words “socialism” or “social programs.” I am an RN…have seen too much horror. Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. 💙

    • @SpectatorAlius so what are the values of the center, what do they stand for? What does it mean to be a centrist?

    • Francis Sarmiento | October 11, 2020 at 6:42 AM | Reply

Why? The majority was brainwashed by the capitalist elite that Bernie is a socialist and it’s a bad thing to the American society. It’s a pity that a politician who truly understands the hardships of the ordinary American is being demonized.

  14. American society is very backward. The world has left the US behind.

    • You can’t fix stupid.
China, which is on course to surpass America even in economic terms in the next 20 years still runs a communist government and yet has healthcare for all? Where is the economic downturn you predict? Then we have most of Europe and the Asian tigers. Are they all communist societies?
Guys, why argue with this anti-factual person. Only I know the data, only I can interpret obvious facts.
It is actually all about slavery/white supremacy. The American system evolved this way because there remains an insane minority of Americans (whites), who will rather suffer a dysfunctional and self-harming healthcare system rather than see its benefits extended to minorities. That is why they were so eager to tie its cover to jobs at a time when few minorities had access to quality jobs and why they will die before they allow the coverage to extend further using easily disproved nonsense like communism. It’s like how many programs to rescue farmers would initially be supported by white rural farmers but once they learned the program would cover poor black farmers also, they would turn against it. Many of America’s big failures cannot be explained if you don’t understand the undying nature of their racism, their refusal to deal with its legacy, and the irrational hatred that underpins it most often reinforced in their firebrand churches.
Add to that mix that corporations, making out like bandits in the current low tax regime, are able to exert undue influence on their money filled elections due to right-wing judges changing laws and you have the perfect recipe for a society that is going to consume itself.
The American century is over and America is on its way out as a nation that truly matters.

@Jeff Woods your tax payer monies are also going to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Why not have our tax payer dollars going to our citizens and programs for once.

    • Linda Hernandez make America pay my debt AGAIN . Trump 2020 baby ……….. in PRISON !!!

    • @Blue Terrace I agree he is right we all have the good free healthcare in europe…

    • I feel like this Bernie person should have run for president. He seems like a better choice.

He’s right. And the people in power absolutely hate it.

    • Guys discussing these things here is good and fine but for the next month we need soldiers to head into Republican safe spaces like Fox News or breughtbarts channel or the blaze Candice Owens wherever and start speaking facts in their echochambers. They need to know trump had his lawyer set up secret abortions for republican mistresses, or how much he is in debt to Russian oligarchs, his 15 year friendship with Epstein. Spreading the truth here isn’t going to win the war. We need volunteers to spend the next month starting debates on Republican channels.
Any volunteers willing to step up???

    • Well that is stil in the air NANCY wil have to forget about her pet projects and giving American tax payer money to illegal aliens and to Democratic cities and packing it with all the pork she couldn’t get to the floor of the Senate. Do I want to see a bill yes one that sends money to American Citizens and helps American Business pay their people through thus Chinese Caused crisis. If the cost is giving American Citizens taxes to illegals that is too high a price to pay and we will have to wait till the DNC is dead, Or if the price is to bail out Democratic cities that have cut Police spending that is to high a price to pay. Again we can wait till after the elections After all Biden thinks America has no right to know how he feels about Packing the SCOTUS. I would think even the Left and Center would demand an answer to that question

Trump’s socialism only goes to his corporate interests. America’s largest farmers are receiving government socialist payments due to his lost trade war, yet government subsidies are denied for the public.

    • Fred Frond trump is only about stocks n has no clue about GDP…

    • And it’s called “substidies” instead of “welfare”. It the same free government money. Only difference, big Ag’ gets a lot more of it.

    • In case you don’t know, the “stimulus” package, included some of his properties, including Kuschner’s winery in Virginia, I believe, and Trump Hotels. Socialism in the United States works very well for the rich but what a dirty word when it supposedly should help those who really need it. I have known people whose pay was low enough at successful firms like Walmart for example, who are in need of food stamps.

    • Yeah, it would be nice if people with low incomes could receive welfare, section 8 housing, EBT, WIC, and Medicaid. Oh yeah, they already can.

Also will you racists be bailing out Daniel Harris the blm supporter who almost kidnapped the corrupt Michigan Democrat governor? Or do you only bail out people who burn down African-American and Mexican-American owned businesses, and attack innocents?

  19. I would have loved to see Trump try

    • If only Americans had in 2016 and 2020 a presidential candidate with name recognition whose top priority was universal health care in the US. I am sure they would have shown how intelligent they are and had him win by a landslide.

    • He won’t dare, Bernie is a lion.
