As the number of infection cases rises, and hospitals continue to run out of beds and space, patients should be sent to the Governor mansions of Kemp, DeSantis, and Abbot. They should also be sent to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago and Doral resorts.
Abbott, Kemp, and DeSantis have been downplaying the coronavirus in order to curry favor with their master Trump, but what they don’t realize, is that as the situation gets drastically worse in their States, Trump is going to throw them all under the bus by placing the entire blame on them, even though they were only following his wishes. Trump already has 3 buses standing by with their names on them, ready to park on top of them at his earliest convenience.

Surprisingly he has just echoed the the truth that Dr. Fauci said. The president said before that it would disappear like magic. Dr. Fauci early in the year that the pandemic would get worse before it gets better. The president has just agreed with the expert. Had believed that it real and not a hoax, the situation would have been contained by now and thousands of lives would have been saved. Now he believes that it’s getting worse and believes in the use of masks. Maybe better late than never. Hopefully he listens to the experts now. 😏

We do have the lowest death rate per the number infected. We just have more infected because of more testing.
@john emeigh The death rate as a % of the number infected doesn’t actually tell you very much as it’s massively dependent on how far along in your outbreak. The further past the peak of your infections you are the higher the death rate as a % of the confirmed infections will be as many people who were infected in the peak have since had time to die.
Anyway. The US doesn’t have the lowest death rate as a % of confirmed infections. Many countries such as Vietam haven’t even record a single death. So whichever way you look at it, their death rate is 0%, end of!
There are also other countries such as Qatar, Panama, Kuwait etc. which have more cases per capita than the US but less deaths per capita. So again, their death rate as a % of confirmed infections is still lower than the US.
So however you define the fatality rate, the US is not the lowest. It’s not even close!!
And what actually matter here, is deaths per million people. That’s what matters. Of the 195 countries in the world, the US has the 10th highest deaths per million people. But yeah, i’m sure the rest of the world is so envious of us…….
