Sadly, “sanctions against Russia”, instead of the oligarchs that benefit from corruption, only boost Putin’s ratings.
Though, I doubt that the west will ever sanction the real beneficiaries of the regime, because they siphon their precious wealth from Russia to the west. That would be akin to the west sanctioning itself!
