covid 19 vaccine cannot be use for new strain viruses.
VUI202012/01 had different type of virus.
So, the vaccine is no effect.
The new strain is more fatal
and called variant covid19.

@I O No, you are wrong. The new strain has yet been determined if it is more virulent, or not. They do know it is more contagious, up to 70% more, but if other viruses are to go by, the more contagious, the less virulent. This, of course, might not be the case, so extra caution is needed in the meantime. As to being immune to the new vaccinations, there is no evidence, to date, that these new vaccines aren’t effective. Stop spreading misinformation, and if you believe it to be true then post sources.

They were planning on vaccinating 20 million by the end of Dec. So far, only 2 million have been vaccinated. Not a surprise when the outgoing president can’t count. SMH.
I talked to my doctor today here in Los Angeles. He mentioned that about 100k will be vaccinated by New Years. Since LA is such a Covid hot spot. I’ve seen lots of photos of my younger friends who work in hospitals have gotten the vaccine because they are nurses and doctors. My doctor also said he thinks the next administration will do a better job of fast tracking and ramping up better organization and deployment of the vaccine
Maybe you should be thankful we actually got a vaccine this soon. We wouldn’t have a vaccine if Clinton won.
@M actually it would be the opposite I think things would be handled much more competently if someone else had won the presidency. I wasn’t a fan of Clinton at all, but her being someone in politics for many years she had the connections and knowledge to appoint who needs to be in positions, and all positions fill in full.
My cousin worked in this current administration for 3 years and it was not uncommon to have to do more extra work because many positions weren’t filled and/ or were filled with “Temporary” placed directors of that department. Also this administrations delay in helping right away to help starting transition prep is only going to make the next administration dealing with this vaccine deployment much harder and delayed than it should be. Sorry but anyone who has had a career in politics would have done a better job. Previous transition team leaders have commented that the Trimp administration was slow to fill positions….because they weren’t expecting to actually win! Come Jan 20th about 4000 government employees have to be changed/ rolled over for next administration. and that is a lot of vetting and security clearance and prep work.

I suppose the trump kids were meant to work out the logistics, but trump may have overestimated their abilities. In any case, the very stable genius single-handedly, personally developed the vaccines, or so he seems to tell us, so 99.99% of the work was done. Can’t the states cope with the remaining 00.01% effort? Gee! They are incompetent!
