President Donald Trump is seeking a 10 percent cut to the U.S. Department of Education’s budget in his fiscal 2020 budget proposal, which would cut the department’s spending by $7.1 billion down to $64 billion starting in October. Funding for teacher development under Title II, totaling $2.1 billion, would be eliminated, as would $1.2 billion in Title IV funding for academic supports and enrichment and $1.1 billion for 21st Century Community Learning Centers that support after-school programs. In total, funding for 29 programs would be eliminated in the federal budget.

Why arent Teachers essential workers? I cringe every time a teacher says they have students whose only access to food is at school. Why arent social workers sent to these homes to investigate why the fridge is empty?

@felledmonster but that is the reality. Young single minority has a kid while in high school and now cant go to college because they need to raise it somewhat on their own. They live in a small one bedroom apartment paying over $900 a month (if they are lucky) and they work two low income jobs because they dont have the skills, knowledge, or drive to get a real high pay middle class job. So they ride the system and depend on the system to carry them through life.

No, your bad take isn’t how the justice system, or even basic logic, work.
We don’t view crimes as ambiguous between innocence and guilt if the party making the accusation has no evidence. The presumption of innocence is held until that claim is substantiated; “Innocent until proven guilty.” There’s not some 50/50 percent chance that it happened or whatever other wishy-washy little standings you want to hold without warrant.
I don’t care about what Mueller thinks anymore than I don’t care about what the Church of Scientology thinks. All that matters is what either party can prove before an impartial audience, and Mueller and the Dems failed on that front because it’s a hoax.

This raises the question of why you’re choosing to revise the statement so drastically, trying to omit that Biden threatened to withhold military aide of the prosecutor looking into Hunter wasn’t fired. Did you not know of it beforehand, but felt the need to talk about it anyway? Did you know, but deliberately choose to word it oddly, all while trying to pretend to be impartial on the whole thing?
‘It sounds to me’ as if you aren’t as impartial as your evasive wording is trying to portray, but the transparent notion of your revisionism paints otherwise.
Whether or not that statement is true raises a myriad of other concerns. In fact, that ambiguity itself should signal the problems with the origins of the Mueller Report; we started an investigation that took years all because of Russian misinformation, yet the VP bragging on live television about committing a crime gets nothing?
This isn’t ‘whataboutism,’ it’s examining transparent partisan standards. The Mueller investigation wasn’t launched because you believed there was something there, it was launched because a few establishment Republicans didn’t like that their party got hijacked, and the Dems were sore losers.
