    1. @Anne Jackson You just contradicted your own point. The culture/where they come from, and how they grow up matters. Their life experiences. NOT the color of their skin. Your skin color doesn’t guarantee you a certain upbringing. Assuming it does is racist and ignorant. There are white kids who grow up poor, and black kids who’s parents are in the NBA, or doctors. There are Mexicans who are scraping by, and here illegally. Others own businesses, and have families that have been here so long they don’t remember the struggle to become a citizen. See the difference? The world’s more complex then skin color.

  1. Good, I’m so glad to hear this. I’ve always been a supporter of Native Americans issues and wish her the best of luck in Biden cabinet. BTW I’m 100% British going back before 1400’s, but always interested in American Native history and Black History (if thats the correct terminology these days)

  2. This is the only video coming up under my recommended for “news” today where the comment section hasn’t either been blocked or been overrun by lunatics.

    1. @Meliodas Pandering? That our ‘representative’ government should have Native Americans in cabinet positions? Shame on you!

    2. @Nancy you are so blind to your own ignorance. Itโ€™s not the fact that someone of some race or some culture gets a job. Itโ€™s the fact that you make it a big deal. Itโ€™s not. That is the point. Shame on you….

  3. Im from the Caribs (Kalina) of South America, Indigenous peoples of the Caribbean. I want to congratulate Deb Haaland for achieving her goals and want to thank Biden for giving her the opportunity to work for his cabinet. We wish you all the strength and luck and may you be an inspiration to our community!

  4. The native Americans were the first care takers of this land and I can’t think of a better person to to manage it now. A step in the right direction.

  5. If the Diversity of Mediocrity is your Goal—-Biden nailed his picks. Stale=Hue-Intellectยฒ. S=H-Iยฒ. It’s the theory of BANALitivity.
