Biden unveils economic plan to spur American manufacturing

Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden unveiled the first major plank of his economic agenda Thursday, detailing a moderate proposal to use government purchasing to spur manufacturing in sectors such as clean energy, infrastructure and health care.
The former vice president delivered a speech outside his childhood hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, as he launched what his campaign is calling its "build back better" agenda, which Biden said would pump federal dollars into purchasing and research and development "in a way not seen since the Great Depression and World War II."
Other planks his campaign said will be detailed in the coming weeks include clean energy, the "caregiving economy," such as child-care and domestic workers, and racial equity.
"Throughout this crisis, Donald Trump has been almost singularly focused on the stock market — the Dow and the Nasdaq. Not you and not your families," Biden said. "If I am fortunate enough to be your president, I'll be laser-focused on working families, middle-class families like I came from here in Scranton, not the wealthy investor class. They don't need me; working families do."

    1. Mo A Biden’s plan: have a black woman VP run the country because he does not know what year it isπŸ’―πŸ˜‚

    1. Ahaha…just like when Hillary won in a landslide. Wait…that didn’t happen either!πŸ’―πŸ˜‚

  1. Why can’t everyone just chill out and be happy? All I do is look at Belle Delphine pictures on onlyfans all day and all night and I swear it brings me the most joy and you won’t even care about what’s going on in the world anymore.

  2. It’s so refreshing to hear someone who sounds presidential instead of psychotic and juvenile.

    1. Marchant2 Ahahah…Joe cannot form a complete sentence and has dementia! Yep, let’s give him the nuclear codes ☒️ πŸ˜‚

  3. Joe, make a commitment to crush poverty, free higher state education, medicare for all, a living wage, the Green New Deal or No Deal

    1. reaper70707 Ahaha…his β€œplan” is to have someone change his diaper will a black woman VP runs the countryπŸ’―πŸ˜‚

  4. He sounded more like a president than Trump can ever be. Biden wants to lead America into the future while Trump want them to stay in the past. Biden may have some scandals in the past but it is what his doing now that really matters.

  5. Joe Biden speaks the truth.

Trump is essentially a 74 year old man who has never matured mentally, intellectually, emotionally, and socially past the age of a prepubescent child. It’s this lack of growth, cognitive capacity, and impulse control that has come to define him and his presidency. He is basically a botched human being, who seems to possess every character flaw known to mankind. This is the crux of the problem when it comes to Trump’s total and complete failure as a leader and president. Trump’s problem is not so much that he refuses to do his job as president, Trump’s problem is that he’s not even capable of doing his job. He is not equipped to do his job. He doesn’t have the necessary tools or the wherewithal to do his job. Trump is simply incapacitated intellectually, mentally, emotionally, socially, and psychologically. He couldn’t properly do his job as president even if he wanted to.

  6. Notice how you never see Trump taking time to visit small mom & pop businesses like President Obama use to do?Β  There are countless videos of President ObamaΒ  stopping by small businesses like bookstores and restaurants with white house staff,Β  foreign leaders, and his kids. Obama would always buy something, sit down to eat, take pictures, and interact with the other customers…everyday Americans.Β That’s what a true leader and President who actually cares about the people should do.

Trump on the other hand, has never interacted or mingled with everyday Americans in his entire life. Because as far as he’s concerned, honest working class Americans are beneath him. Everyday working class Americans are nothing more than marks to a con-man like him. Just ask the people he conned out of their money with Trump University.

I still remember the video of President Obama visiting a pizza joint, and the owner givingΒ  Obama a big bear hug, literally picking him up off of his feet. That same owner would have needed a forklift and a heavy equipment operators license to pick Trump up. πŸ˜‚

  7. “MORE”? Where are THESE manufacturing sectors at? Far as I know that died 20years ago when NAFTA was ushered in πŸ€”πŸ™„πŸ₯Ί. Good Delusional talking points tho…. You fail to acknowledge that you are the reason why the middle class was crushed and betrayed.
