Biden’s unexpected radical approach to the presidency

Even though Joe Biden was known as a pragmatic dealmaker, he has taken a bold, radical approach to the beginning of his presidency. In this latest episode of The Point, CNN’s Chris Cillizza explains Biden’s unexpected direction in the wake of the post-Trump era and Covid-19.

  1. This was long overdue. I’m glad he’s choosing to get things done. Go Joe! Chris Cillizza puts together a great information show.

    1. @Reid Earl I wasn’t aware that democrats were all unemployed and not paying taxes, I have been paying taxes for over three decades now, and what is wrong with tax payers actually benefiting from their contributions. Or should it all be reserved for wealthy tax dodgers. You know their was a time when paying your fair Share in taxes was the patriotic thing to do. I choose to be a patriot and will continue to pay my share for the benefit of my country. I just wish that these so called patriots would stop helping only those that need it the least.

    2. @TheLittleKnight indeed I do. I have a copy of it and have studied it carefully. I am covering Biden’s first 100 days for my degree course.

      Have you?

    3. @ItsIxel wow where is the change and new US where are those damn promises there are still riots in Minneapolis and Asian Protests in New York now and you just insulted my president of Russia you idiots 🇷🇺

  2. As an 80’s child and punk rock girl. I get a special thrill every time you sneak a violent femmes reference into your Point episodes. I’m in love with your brain. <3

  3. I think Biden’s age, which so many thought would be his weakness, is actually his strength. He has nothing to lose at his age, he’s seen it all and he’s not trying to accomplish much else beyond this. I think he’s truly dedicated to making the most of his time in office because this is his swan song.

    1. Gallup asked Americans how they felt about the direction of the country. About 11% of respondents said they are “very” or “somewhat satisfied” with the direction of the country, the lowest satisfaction rate since 2011. Biden was a VP in 2011.

    2. AGREED. I thought I would find lots of comments complaining about him (lots of blind, gullible & indoctrinated MAGA nuts)…pleased to see people have their own mind and can see the advantages of reform, competency and compassionate government. What he has in spades is EXPERIENCE- something woefully lacking the last time.

    3. @Rob Russell I don’t thinks so. When he is squinting at the teleprompter and not exactly as articulate as he should be it’s a sign he is not getting enough sleep and eating properly. I was the same in my 20’s so it’s not an age related disability. Give him a nap to restart his brain and some vitamins and all is well. I’ve seen it happen with him time and time again.

When one considers the strides he has made in less than 100 days, one might be more supportive and less critical. He loves us all and wants the best for all.

    1. He has no way. Gallup asked Americans how they felt about the direction of the country. About 11% of respondents said they are “very” or “somewhat satisfied” with the direction of the country, the lowest satisfaction rate since 2011. Biden was a VP in 2011.

    1. “We have put together I think the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics” – Sniff Inhale Biden

    2. We agree that Biden is leading the country in the wrong direction. Gallup asked Americans how they felt about the direction of the country. About 11% of respondents said they are “very” or “somewhat satisfied” with the direction of the country, the lowest satisfaction rate since 2011.

    3. @Your Big Head Cousin Gallup asked Americans how they felt about the direction of the country. About 11% of respondents said they are “very” or “somewhat satisfied” with the direction of the country, the lowest satisfaction rate since 2011.

    4. @M Hall Huh. Sounds like you soak up every single thing you’re told by Fox and Newsmax, etc. Just might say a little bit more about you than it does about Biden.

    5. @R Gand you think that has more to do with the guy who’s been in office for less than 90 days rather than the bumbling game show host who was in for the last 4 years?

  4. It’s clear as day Biden learned from the mistakes of the Obama years. He saw how the GOP acted in bad faith with him and Joe ain’t having it.

    1. Nope he didn’t. Gallup asked Americans how they felt about the direction of the country. About 11% of respondents said they are “very” or “somewhat satisfied” with the direction of the country, the lowest satisfaction rate since 2011. Biden was a VP in 2011.

  5. I, for one, am very happy Biden learned what the GOP taught him… no matter what they say they have no intention on working together

  6. “Wherever I am, I command ! Or, else I keep silence”!
That’s what Napoleon Bonaparte had to say !

  7. Infrastructure, voting rights, federal decriminalization. Improve economy, equity, and democracy simultaneously with each! Keep pushing guys

  8. I’ve been waiting for some of these initiatives, in one form or another, by one name or another, since the 60s. It’s about damn time. Thank you, Joe!

    1. When things were at their very worst:
2 Suns, Cross in the sky, 2 comets will collide = don`t be afraid – repent, accept Lord`s Hand of Mercy.
The first sign – the Earth will spin faster.
The second sign concerns the sun, which will loom larger, brighter and begin to spin.
Scientists will say it was a global illusion.
Beaware – Jesus will never walk in flesh again.
After WW3 – rise of the “ man of peace“ from the East = Antichrist – the most powerful, popular, charismatic and influential leader of all time. Many miracles will be attributed to him. He will imitate Jesus in every conceivable way.
Don`t trust „pope“ Francis = the False Prophet
      – will seem to rise from the dead
      – will unite all Christian Churches and all Religions as one.
One World Religion = the seat of the Antichrist.
Benedict XVI is the last true pope – will be accused of a crime of which he is totally innocent.

      – banking collapse was deliberately masterminded by the Antichrist

      – Antichrist will step in and create a false peace in the state of Israel by joining them with palestine in an unlikely alliance.

      – „He will recite extracts from My Teachings, which he will passionately proclaim from every secular stage in the world, until people sit up and take notice of him.“

    2. @gab michael
We would appreciate if you kept such idiocy to yourself. The world ended even for the mighty dinosaurs who ruled the earth for millions of years. We will suffer a worse fate long before then. So shut up.

    3. @gab michael Hey mate….with most of the spiel you have indicated the “Antichrist” will be “charismatic”. THAT is NOT Joe Biden. He is quiet, humble, unassuming. He literally grew up with a speech impediment (a stutter)- which always makes people shy and wary. Also- he has experienced much grief in his life (his wife and 2 kids) which always helps a person have empathy towards others and often leads them to extreme faith in (your) God (or can lead to addictions- not Joe). He is NOT YOUR antichrist. I think your “charismatic” person was Trump. He might still cause the end of the world. Wait and see…

  9. Thank you so much for this beautiful great introductory video. I have an end of semester assignment on Biden’s first 100 day’s. This is a great springboard for that. Thank you.
