    1. Including in those boycotting and divesting from companies in Israel until they stop creating apartheid for the Palestinian people. Trump administration basically made it against the law to protest inhumane treatment by Netanyahu’s bigotry against Palestinians. You can support the state of Israel and still be against policies and ideologies of Netanyahu’s that continue to build settlements and commit violence on long established Palestinian territories.

    2. @Ellen Benson very well said n I totally agree even boycotting products of companies that are directly n indirectly supporting far right politicians n their vanilla ISIS terrorist groups

  1. This should have started a long time ago. The alt-right needs to stop being treated with children’s gloves.

    1. @SouthSide_ Chicago79 You mean the question that I answered by showing you who was really responsible?

Poor, poor Southside. There’s a reason the FBI has been saying that Right-wing terrorism is a growing problem for years now.

    2. @Drake Fire thank you for proving, yet again, how you’re unable to think for yourself. My goodness, it isn’t like i’m asking you to calculate the exact distance to Mars and back LOL. Last tip for you kiddo, in your next college class, try using YOUR OWN words when writing an essay. You will fail, like you did here, if you just hand the professor an exact duplicate of what was written by someone else. Try to be yourself. I know that’s asking a lot, but you can do it, i wish you well!

    3. @SouthSide_ Chicago79 Poor little thing. It’s almost like having evidence matters in the real world.

Of course, you wouldn’t know that. In the time you first attempted to debate me, you went from a sailor, to a car mechanic, and now a welder.

It doesn’t take much to realize you aren’t a good liar. Well, I mean, you lie to yourself a lot, after all. But practice always doesn’t make perfect.

    4. @SouthSide_ Chicago79 Aw, still can’t get over Trump’s loss?

Next time, have something that’s actually news. Remember, right-wing terrorists have killed 3 cops to BLM’s zero.

Seriously, don’t get your news from the Cower with Chowder crowd. It makes you look dumber than you are already.

    1. @Eric Klaus none of that is: OVERTHROWING DEMOCRACY, for a wannabe dictator fraud.
And the two things you are so ignorantly comparing have very different reasons behind them.

    2. @Dr. Poo nope confederate to dem republic then to democrats then the board hit opposite day democrats/republicans republicans/democrats and violin there you go thats government

  2. And when it comes to ‘abuse’..there is physical, verbal and psychological. Violence does not exist in a vacuum.

    1. You know it’s dark times when right wing extremist comes to your mind about domestic terrorist. It’s not about isis anymore, it’s the rise and the return of the white supremacist.

  3. Why not use pre-emptive strike against this threat.??..no form of terrorism can be acceptable , period…Also the enablers and sympathisers need to be accountable..

  4. There is no tightrope walking. California used to allow guns in the state capitol until Ronald Reagan made it illegal as governor. Serious action must be taken to stop domestic terrorism. There is no excuse for it

    1. Yes, Reagan was FOR guns until the Black Panthers started carrying! THEN he was quick to outlaw them! ( I am NOT pro-gun, but this has to be pointed out!)

    2. @D. P. You are 100% correct. The real reason Reagan signed that law was to prevent Black Panthers from carrying guns into the capitol.

    3. @D. P. Another corrupt republican president 3 out of the last 4 Republican presidents have all been criminals Reagan Bush 2 and the fatman all three in any other Western nation would be doing jail time

  5. An armed protester is a domestic terrorist. There’s nothing to debate about that. The gun culture in the US is something those of us in other countries don’t understand, and find quite appalling.

    1. America’s “gun culture” comes from having stolen land from its Native people, a sense of entitlement, and a profound FEAR of everyone non-White.

  6. I’m sorry, Mr. Rohde, but my reaction is DUH. Of course “the political class has to talk about…” You realize that Cong. Greene is now part of the political class, as is Cong. Boebert, Cong. Harris, Sen. Hawley, etc., right? The political class in Michigan does not want to restrict the possession and carrying of weapons in public. That has already been decided by “the political class”. Half of the political class is perfectly happy to spew oceans of disinformation. What is there for them to talk about when one group thinks disinformation is the way to go, the way things should be? We need new laws about free speech in the digital age, you say. Again, DUH. How about being specific about how the law would be written and enforced so that dissent on important issues wouldn’t be squelched but calls for the assassination of the Speaker and VP would be? It’s not like we don’t know what the problem is at this point. Unless you give a solution, all you are doing is repeating the same thing dozens of other people who have written books and articles filled with the obvious have already said over and over again. “We’ve got to do something about…” is the most popular phrase in the English language. What exactly would that something be? (Crickets)

    1. The Republicans don’t want to restrict the carrying of guns in political spaces because they think that the people with the guns are on their side. By the time they realize otherwise, it’ll be too late.

    1. Right wing extremist, the people who stormed the capitol which are domestic terrorist. They are the base of the new republican party. The more insane you are, the better. That is the requirement now to be a candidate.

    2. @The Crooners lol there is video of more left wing terrorist attacking a ice facility in portland the other day

  7. In the United States, hate speech is protected by the First Amendment, But Hate Crimes are not.

The FBI has defined a hate crime as a “criminal offense against a person or property motivated in whole or in part by an offender’s bias against a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender, or gender identity,” including skin color and national origin.
    –ALA American Library Association

  8. How many doctors have been killed by anti-abortion “protestors”?
Just because you agree with them doesn’t mean they aren’t terrorists, Joe.

    1. So does that mean I am a terriost because I cut my arms every day , bleeding for a dead brother and father along with others of my family who died,. Since I am above the law , what I do is very legal, enforcement can’t stop Me

    2. @Donald Strubhar How does your self mutilation deny others rights? There is no comparison to your sickness, and that of these anti-abortion thugs.

    3. @Deborah Freedman I don’t have a sickness, doesn’t the bible mentioned eye for an eye, that’s what I am doing, blood for blood, I don’t harm anyone my useless life doesn’t matter

    4. @Xxx YZ this america there’s no help in this country, and since I can’t raise the dead cutting my arms pays for the Dead

  9. Trump was given intel on homegrown white supremacy regimes 2 years ago…..and he said stand back and stand by…

  10. Joe-“There is a real danger of people moving from the actions to the political speech. Talk about that.”
David-“That’s the challenge here. I completely agree with you.”
also David-“I think that we need new laws about speech…”
