    1. @The Insane Shecklador..If they can’t contain it locally, how are they going to do it Nationally ??

  1. If they can get everyone to do this properly it should stop the virus. Lets just hope the recession doesn’t last too long. Good luck NY

    1. COVID-19: “Thousands and thousands are gonna die.:

    2. @rustytr can I ask where did you get this info. I have heard David icke speak about it. He said it was a way to make a global currency system.

  2. The federal govt has no mandate and leave it to to state’s decision. DT is only looking at Wall Street. Who cares abt the average American when the elites are bail out by the feds.

  3. Yeahhhh, the “great leader” aka the WH Schizophrenic Psychopath, merits a Nobel price for his heroic fight against Covid withholding supplies to hospitals and health workers….get the whole of USA infected with Covid19, millions of jobs lost, informing his friends to sell their stocks before Covid hits, hang on folks he’ll win because he’s the Bas***rd who’ll safe the USA.

  4. I’m all alone. But I’m doing it.

    1. You’ll be ok. Play some online games, watch some movies, FaceTime your friends/family.

    2. amused bystander : Your not alone we’re all with you, when you’re down just look at the 🌞 set and the flowers, listen to music, do yoga, meditate. I do it. I’ve thankfully rescue a lovely dog just months ago and she keeps me company and busy. It’s scary yes but we need to have faith it will work out. As long as we have someone who knows what to do and does it and keep us even in lock down safe if that what’s it takes.

  5. Journal your symptoms. Your healthcare pro will value you. Fast perfect answers to their checklist a huge help. Journal.📑

    1. and masks only protect health professionals…. not every day people…. duh. (hey, average citizen, your government doesn’t really care about you)

    2. This is why no one listens or respects the daily beast, it’s a joke. Only “most”. Listen to the Daily Wire if you have a brain

    1. In the Bay area…particularly San Francisco, the City is renting hotel rooms/providing services for all the homeless so that they have basic food, clothing, shelter and medical care…A silver lining to a deadly disease!

    2. @Mary Ann Blackwell See? Somebody cares about the homeless!👍 I believe most homeless may be more vulnerable to this virus due to weakened immune systems. Not 100% but many are alcoholics, drug addicts and certainly vitamin deficient. If left on their own to shelter in place, it could turn into a Petrie dish just waiting for the right moment to spread. Think about prostitutes….can’t earn a living without contact with others. Everything comes down to the lowest denominators. Truly sad!

    3. Just heard that Bezos is giving 100 BILLION man-made INCH£$ to… Oh. Wait a sec. Erm… Nahhh. Misheard. He’s SPENDING 100 BILL on re-varnishing his yachts-ssssss !

    4. @Eva Winters in the meantime prostitutes, homeless aren’t being infected and dying.. must be their diet

  6. Everyone needs to understand that you don’t see results for 2-3 weeks! Can’t get frustrated & think it’s not working!

  7. Every time I think, ‘why don’t people just stay home for 3 weeks?’ I realize how privileged I actually am

    1. I’m a 59 year old grandmother who raised two kids in poverty. We lived in shacks, trailers and a VW Vanagon. Now that they are self supporting adults it’s easy for me to support myself. ‘Soccer Mom’ 🤣. I wish my friends could see this. You can’t possibly grasp the humor without knowing me

  8. De Blassio and Cuomo should be in charge of this pandemic, they have the leadership skills and professionalism to lead the American people. Trump will be golfing this weekend they will not.

    1. Deblasio should have no control over how to manage the carranzavirus. When every other state closed schools right away, Deblasio was still wanting schools to continue thinking it was completely safe

  9. All health care workers should be tested asap. No one wants someone taking care of you to have this virus.

    1. Who’s to say they won’t get it the day after they are tested? Seems like a waste to me, unless they show signs .

    1. @jdhdh hdbbdk no on califoeni. They let quarantine patients go home how stupid was that
We didnt have it till then it was controlled but local authorities just dropped the ball I’m glad I don’t live in new york those politicians are. Just criminal

      TRUMP 2020

  10. clear transparent messages must be issued daily nothing made up. we need accurate info i think Gov. Cuomo has done a excellent job in that area.

  11. “Amid the coronavirus outbreak, those who say ‘made in China is toxic’, don’t need to wear masks made in China, or wear protective suits made in China, or use expirators exported from China to avoid catching the virus”. Geng Shuang, Deputy Director, Foreign Ministry Information Department, China, 20 March 2020 [ https://youtu.be/08jGgTuXTuw ]

    1. Gus YAO Guess the clever Yankees know better than the rest of the world. Is that why your Covid numbers are shooting through the roof? Or should we just leave it as karmic retribution for all the chaos, death and destruction that Yankees constantly sow around the world?

  12. I’m in No. Cal and virtually everyone is behaving very, very well. Yes, there are always a few, but I’m very proud of the vast majority of my fellow citizens and residents.
