Seem like there could be alot more government funded environmental conservation jobs than there is now…

    • IR_Dankenstein yes there could be but we have a president who not concern with the health of the earth as he is concerned about making money! You people who wanted a president that was a business man WELL YOU GOT ONE!

@Dale Anderson I wanted Batman, but got the Penguin D:

    • Dale Anderson. Trump is a real fake businessman. Otherwise, I agree with your statement.

    • this “administration” has effectively fired hundreds of scientists studying climate, environment and food integrity.

  2. Moving towards life extinction…. towards life extinction due to greed and ignorance

    • — > Don’t worry, Trump and his boy, Kushnner, have given Saudi Arabia (the home of the 9/11 terrorists) nuclear technology and Congress has failed to prevent selling them engineering blue prints to produce military weapons. The half-life for nuclear fallout from weapons and nuclear waste from reactors, especially second generation reactors is 250,000 years.

BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY…………. SCIENCE RULES!!!

  5. Trolls, you will get hot too. No one is an island.

  6. Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! My 5th grade science classes were so much more interesting with his videos.

  7. Thank you for having Bill Nye on to bring up the constant concern informed persons have about climate change.  I have a difficult time trying to explain what climate change is with all the deniers out there.  Got some more info to work with.

Most of us are not ‘deniers’, we are skeptics and rightly so….

    • Adding a PhD to your moniker on a forum that does not allow for verification lends zero authority to your comment, in fact, it suggests the opposite. Maybe, rather than relying on those three letters, you can enlighten us with your expertise.

  8. Walrus and seals may not last another year. At least the polar bear can move inland. Can’t we build barges and platforms for the sea mammals? We engineer such things for our commerce, adapt the surface design so sea mammals can lumber on and off. Make them white to replace the sea ice.

Like Bill said, just throw money.

Make all roadways white. Gardens on every roof. Vertical gardens on south facing buildings.

Also time to resurrect the victory garden.

    Good rant, thank you.

What the heck, I can’t believe he’s the president. Look around you Mr Trump!

Great Bill Nye! Your great! (So is Ari). I’ll be watching your show.

  11. I live in Kentucky, where an alarming number are creationists and deniers of climate change. Thanks to evangelical/fundamentalist Christianity and public school teachers who are also conservative and religious morons, many Kentuckians lack the ability to think.

  12. We need more Bill Nye! What Carl Sagan did for Cosmos, Bill should do for saving our planet.

  13. Matthew Lewis | August 17, 2019 at 8:45 AM | Reply

At last. A scientist who admitted that when we’re gone the Earth is going to be still hear and it’ll still be inhabited but with other Flora and Fauna who’ve changed to the environment and can live in a new climate changed World.

    • Too many people don’t care about “saving the planet.” They do care about saving themselves! They should care about saving their children and grandchildren.

This is huge. The world needs leadership. We have made ourselves the enemy of the rest of the planet. This will be crystal clear to all within ten more years. But then too late. We will be trapped into 6 degrees maybe worse. Read up on 6 degrees. How ca we do this to our childrens children?

  15. Bill Nye didn’t have time to mention some of the big changes needed to reverse Climate Change. The UN report they were talking about recommended greatly reducing animal agriculture by switching to a more plant based diet. That is the most impactful thing every individual can do to reverse Climate Change. Animal agriculture contributes more to Climate Change than all transportation combined!

  16. Morons will always follow a buffoon, when they lose everything they own, they’ll blame Obama. Republicans believe in science only when it makes the greedy profits.

  17. A big part of the problem with climate change denial is that people aren’t shown images like those sled dogs often enough. It’s easy to deny what you don’t see.

  18. Mr Rogers on science. Paid schill!

  19. A global police needs to storm the white house and arrest trump. If the world teams up we can save mother earth.
