‘Black Panther’ star Chadwick Boseman dies at 43

Chadwick Boseman, the man who brought "Black Panther" to life, has died.
The actor has been battling colon cancer since 2016 and died at home with his family and wife by his side, according to a statement posted on his Twitter account.
He was 43, his publicist Nicki Fioravante said in a statement.
"A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you so many of the films you have come to love so much," the statement said.
"From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy."
The statement said the role of King T'Challa was the "honor of (Boseman's) career."

  1. He’s was a humble king, he never even told anyone about his condition when he was shooting those films. A true legend that will be missed.

    May he rest in peace.

    1. @alex haes so you are admitting you are a rock to focused on a now dead flower that it very pitiful I kinda feel bad for what happened

Not all legends have to be like Luther King. Some find Boseman as a legend in their point of view. Calling the people who are saying that Boseman was a legend, pathetic just because you don’t think that he was a legend, is kind of ignorant.

    1. Carol King

      OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      @Raytardo Dawise Got BURNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    2. Ik for fact he is gonna be reborn in the world but wouldn’t know anything just like he has a whole new way to go it’s not the end everyone!

  2. The fact is he knew he was gonna die. He died in his home and not the hospital. This just makes me so sad that he’s been doing surgery’s and checkups for the past 4 years and still hasn’t recovered. Fly high, Wakanda forever ✊🏿

    1. @Sonia Smith He did! He was a man of faith. I’ve heard him mention God in several speeches and interviews. I also know he has a brother who is a pastor so his family was praying for him too.

    1. @Federal Bureau of Stuff JOHNSON RESPONDED TO MY POST THAT BOSEMAN WAS A TURD. my response is to him only. T.U.R.D means something totally different to me but i will not waste time on a person like JOHNSON. he is entitled to get on here and speak ill of someone we respect. it’s his right, even at age 70. again that is why my husband is in the army. so we can all be free. but boseman is class beyond words and i for will miss the gifted young star immensely. apparently i am not the only one. WATCH BLACK PANTHER TONIGHT ON ABC YALL. PEACE.

  3. Literally 2020 is gonna be written down as the worst year ever….

    Almost World war 3
    Australia Wildfires
    Kobe’s Death
    Coronavirus Pandemic
    NBA shutdown
    Murder Hornets
    George Floyd’s death plus riots
    Jacob Blake Incident
Now Chadwick Boseman, one of my favorite actors and superheroes…I just can’t man😞

It gonna be even worst if trump gets re-elected for another 4 years of trouble

    1. @Blueschy everyone has their own opinion but mine is that if donald trump gets re-elected their is going to be more drama

    2. You forgot the Beirut explosion, the massive locust swarms invading East Africa and destroying all the vegetation, and I think this came after, Dwayne the rock Johnson and his entire family test positive for COVID-19

  4. Never saw Black Panther. Don’t know much about him. But may the Lord comfort his family, friends, and fans. God bless.

  5. This is the most awful news. A brilliant man, and my deepest sympathies to his family for their huge loss to their lives .

  6. This movie really hits different now. Chadwick was a hero beyond the Black Panther suit, and far beyond his acting. #WakandaForever

    1. For me it didn’t hit really. It’s definitely really hitting me now just appreciating his character being able to connect it to a hero. Didn’t like all the identity politics surrounding this movie but I appreciate it heavily for Chadwick now.

    1. Kaira Mahan the original Wikipedia said 1977, then they corrected it. So it was 42 when I posted that comment but they’ve updated it
