Blinken: Russian actions at Bucha were ‘deliberate campaign to kill’ | USA TODAY

Antony Blinken described Russian actions at Bucha, where the bodies of hundreds of Ukrainian civilians were found, as a "deliberate campaign to kill."

Ukrainian officials said the bodies of 410 civilians were found in Kyiv-area towns recently retaken from Russian forces. In Bucha, 280 people were buried in mass graves, according to Oleksiy Arestovych, an adviser to Zelenskyy. That figure could not be independently verified by USA TODAY.

"We are seeing credible reports of torture, rape and civilians executed alongside their families. There are reports and images of a nightmare litany of atrocities, including reports of land mines and booby traps left behind by Putin’s forces," State Department spokesperson Ned Price said. He added: "The images we have seen and reports we have heard suggest these atrocities are not the act of a rogue soldier. They are part of a broader, troubling campaign."

  1. Witnesses on the ground there, tell a totally contrary story. I have no reason, not to believe them. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for you. Question everything.

  3. “usa today” you need to change the chipper outro for videos where they are talking about rape and genocide

  4. My question: was it a rogue action by local soldiers or ordered by superior officers/politicians?

    1. @Opies Home Shop Thank you for the comment. You think people might learn to question what they are told by the same people that have lied repeatedly in the past.

    2. @Tom Weiss oh you mean like Russian state media? Or do their lies not hold any weight anymore?

  5. I am glad people are waking up to yje fact you can’t trust anything they say. As far as what Blinken said…I really don’t care. I just came for the comments

Weird how these events keep happening right as the side NATO isn’t supporting gains the upper hand and/or is in the process of de-escalation.

  7. On March 29 an agreement for the departure of Russian troops.
On march 30 Russian army had left Bucha,
On march 31st the mayor of Bucha claimed in a video selfie the victory of Bucha and the departure of the Russian army, not a single word on the dead bodies.
On april 1st, a media of Ukrain publish a video of Bucha to show the disaster of the war and yet, no dead bodies.
Suddenly on april 2nd they publish the video of the dead bodies…
This is only and simply propaganda.

  8. Anyone watch the video and notice the dead dude moving his arm 🙂

This is better than Nayira’s testimony 🙂

  9. Nice video!! Very engaging from beginning to end. Nevertheless, businesses and investment are the easiest way to make money irrespective of which party makes it to the oval office.
