    1. @Maha Tiki Cat “Trump Derangement Syndrome” is a made-up term Republicans use to explain why people hate Trump, because they’re so deluded that they can’t think of any other explanation for why anyone would hate their orange god … except “Hillary lost and you can’t get over it”

  1. We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.
    *-Plato-*

    1. “Be afraid of the light, you will regret it; DON’T be afraid of the light, you will also regret it. Be afraid or don’t be afraid of the light, you will regret it either ways.”

      ~Soren Kierkegaard

    1. Trump was the gop’s way back to the WH.

Since 2016 the gop have seen a very large part of their dream policies enacted, they have been able to stack (flood?) courts all across the country with gop-favorable judges, they got tax cut after tax cut after tax cut for the super rich, they had a good ol’ stab at stopping the ACA (until those pesky American people got in the way),
they are, right now, trying to scrap the DACA protections (like, right now. It’s at the Supreme Court),
they got **vast** areas of protected land and wildlife areas put up for sale to private developers, they got that awful ‘Net Neutrality’ scrapped, they (almost) got an entire state unable to provide abortions (and are gearing up in multiple states to take down Roe v Wade), oh yeah they got 2 SC picks including the one they stole from a duly elected president

To name just a few ‘highlights’

All in all these last 3 years have been a bonanza for the right-wing.

    2. I remember the GOP debates… not exactly a line up of the best and brightest. More like an identity parade of creeps and cretins. Trump was the creepiest and most cretinous of them. And the most loudmouthed and ignorant. A natural.

    3. No, he was *not* the best man the GOP could find. He was the one who appealed to the baser instincts of enough people that he became the most popular. The GOP is not populated by people like John McCain anymore.

    4. Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, BEN CARSON. Scary with Trump it entertainment at every turn. He was a shoe in. What about Hillary?. A self appointed king.

  2. Hes like a child emperor and his base will be with him till the end. When I ask myself how hr still has support I remind myself that convicted rapists and murders get love letters on prison. Theres nothing he could do to lose support. He was right about that.

  3. This isn’t news to anybody who has paid attention to Trump over the years. He has the mental acuity of a 7 year old with ADHD who is pumped up on too much sugar. In fact I would rather have the 7 year old in the White House than Trump.
Of course the Christian Dominionists just love Trump because he is precisely the kind of person who they are used to manipulating, ignorant and proud of it.

  4. Oh, He’s illiterate and has some sort of ADHD or dementia. Everything makes sense now. 25th Amendment.

    1. The most inept incompetent bone spur having whiny Cheeto in charge. Not me. I’m living in a parallel universe until Jan 2020.

  5. I’m just shocked that suckers look at Trump and see a “strong leader” WTF is wrong with these people?

    1. @DataWaveTaGo
I tend to believe that there are more influences that behoove oppositional behavior. Don’t misunderstand please. I believe that we all as humans deserve to live our own lives.

    2. @stella somad conflict is part of human nature. Social institutions brought us together and reduced this conflict. Now social media is reversing this.

  6. It’s mind blowing to hear Rachel, read in details the level of Trump’s intelligence. The proof of his ignorance has been telling. Trump has divided Americans, and twisted the constitution to fit his own personal wants. His removal from office cannot come quick enough.

  7. I am so shocked that a shady lying businessman with a history of racism and misogyny would turn out to be such an incompetent government leader. If only we could have seen it coming.

    1. I’m sad that Don McGahn didn’t do as he was told and fire Mueller. Trump would have been impeached and possibly removed two years ago, and we wouldn’t have to be dealing with this BS now…

    2. So are you saying you couldn’t see this happening? I can’t believe that somehow. The same people that followed Adolf Hitler are the same people that see Trump as their saviour.

    1. Trump rallies are “emotional” rallies for trump, where he gets petted like a good dog. Put him at say a ufc fight or a basball game (not emotional rally) and he gets booed hard.

    2. They need to all go to jail for helping and leading him to mess over America this way just to have a Republican in charge wow .

  8. These people are going to be saying “I was just doing my job” like the Nazis all said, “I was just following orders.”

    1. @Canoga Parque 818 By lies & manipulation. According to him don’t believe what you see & hear from anyone else only believe what he says

    2. Its only a matter of time before he does something incredible terrible and that is exactly what they’ll say

    3. Canoga Parque 818 Give us a source. Link to video or text please. I’m not disputing your claim, just want to see the proof.

    4. @tomcoryell What ? Proof that the Nuremberg trials actually happened and that was the defense of the nazis on trial, that they were just following orders when they committed war crimes.

    1. @Dee Pattison I wouldn’t put my faith in Mattis. He bailed out when he had the chance to take Trump down. Now he writes editorials and cashes in on it like every other politician.

  9. It’s a little like “The Madness of King George.”
    “The Stupidness of Toddler Trump.”
A spoiled toddler who is in charge of the free world.

    1. Don’t be fooled, Some Guy. Trump may have the emotions of a spoiled toddler but he has the mind of a perverted criminal AND the power to commit his crimes, while we sit and watch our country unravel like an XXXXX rated TV program!

    2. Some Guy, He’s not in charge of the free world, only about 40% of America. Russia and China are taking charge of the so-called ‘free world’. The rest of the world is walking softly around your dangerous psychopath, but sooner or later, you will be paying for this disgrace.

    1. I appreciate the author’s work, but I keep thinking, we already pretty much knew this — it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what’s going on.

    2. Exactly, if you’ve seen him in public why would anyone think he was any more reasoned or focused behind closed doors?

    1. USA… that’s a word, too isn’t it. Letters, those are just letters on a paper. What do they mean, anyway?
