I wept when I watched this on tv. Then I wept for the second showing. Without Lawrence O’Donnell’s father, she would not be alive today. He’s a true hero and it shows how important attorneys for human rights, public defenders, immigration lawyers, civil rights-centered lawyer….just how important they all are to our Democracy.
