FYI, Martha Stewart though she was having an off the record conversation with the FBI and they trapped her for obstruction because she could not remember a phone call, It is what prosecutors do when they cannot convict you on anything else. Civil rights attorneys want to see changes in this law where you cannot be convicted of obstruction or perjury unless you are questioned under miranda rights and given the right to remain silent.

Laura, that has always baffled me, too. The only explanation I can think of is that Republicans always promise tax cuts. As far as Republican voters in Georgia are concerned, if Republicans get them a couple hundred dollars more on their tax refunds, they would gladly elect someone who would privatize all schools, use Georgia’s marshlands as international toxic waste dumps, de-regulate every industry in the state, eliminate the ACA (with no replacement plan), cut funding to to Social Security and Medicare by 50%, eliminate all consumer protection laws, eliminate all environmental protection laws, eliminate all federal inspectors general and ethics and oversight offices, summarily execute all undocumented immigrants, ban all non-Christian religions, make all abortions a capital offense, make atheism a capital offense, re-instate slavery, deny voting rights to everyone but white Christians, refuse to allow a vote on _all_ bills passed by the House, refuse to confirm _all_ of Biden’s appointments, and deny all government funding for COVID-19 relief, except to big businesses.
Face questions? I think its pretty clear, they’re both guilty of insider trading.

Thank you! I’ve been saying the same thing all along. I’d love to see what stock moves his family and friends made around his market moving tweets. He says one thing one day, and the market freaks out, then flips what he said the next day, and the markets freak out in the other direction.
