Bridgett Floyd On Chauvin Trial: This Was Intentional And We Will Get Justice | The ReidOut | MSNBC

  1. This has to be so very hard for the Floyd family to watch and hear over and over .
My prayers are with all of them.

    1. @FactsarenotdirtyFwords just think, if Floyd was killed by a fellow black no one would have ever even known his name

    2. @President Elect KeithTHIS IS WHY MASS MEDIA doesn’t talk about it.

“A 2018 national survey found offenders were the same race as the victim 70% of the time for Blacks and 62% for Whites.”

    3. @President Elect Keith just think, if white supremacists didn’t infiltrate the police force, there’d be no lynching by Chauvin.

    4. @FactsarenotdirtyFwords You are TOTALLY missing the point. Homicide is overwhelmingly overrepresented in the Black Community. So much so that its the #1 cause of death for black males ages 1-44. You can call me ANY name you want but it won’t change a single FACT I’ve presented here.

    1. @President Elect Keith You think every black male grows up in the same environment? They don’t, some don’t live in cities, some come for two family homes, some excel academically. I work with a single black mom, her only child is a 28 year old black male, he is a engineer that was recruited by a firm in Japan. The media doesn’t bother to report on success stories, they aren’t entertaining to most people.

    2. @Seven Taylor Nothing you said changes the fact that HOMICIDE is the leading cause of death for black males ages 1-44. And this FACT is never mentioned by the MSM, politicians or race activists

    3. @President Elect Keith I wasn’t trying to change you, I just want to offer you a different point of view.

    4. @Seven Taylor the white supremacists don’t understand anything but prison. That’s why the Aryan brotherhood does so well in prison. Just report them for hate speech.

    5. @Seven Taylor I’m not here to defend or condemn Floyd or Chauvin. Leave that to the jury. What I will tell you though is that any unarmed American’s chances of being killed by the police, no matter what their race is, is statically less likely than getting hit by lighting or bitten by a shark.

We’ve let the for profit Corporate Mass Media stir up so much emotion that no one looks at the overwhelmingly cause of loss of Black life. And therefore, nothing ever gets done about it.

  2. I’m not a Christian, only really adjacently religious, yet I will pray EVERY DAY that the Floyd family gets the justice they deserve.

    1. @Claressa Lucas he did it to himself this guy put a gun to a pregnant woman’s body and demanded money. Also if he followed simple directions he would still be alive. He was trash

    2. @Rich Thompson WTF are you talking about!?!?! Mr. Floyd bought food with a $20 that might have been fake and that he might have thought was real. There were no weapons or pregnant people or threats or even resisting arrest…besides being reluctant to get into a small vehicle due to claustrophobia. Am I just feeding a troll here?

    4. @President Elect Keith Why should an unarmed American’s chances of being killed by police be anything other than zero?

  3. Chauvin’s Trial should be viewed as the one George Floyd was NEVER allowed to have because Chauvin was the judge, jury, and executioner! This trial has ZERO to do with the lies and excuses made for Chauvin in order to blame the victim (Mr. Floyd). NOPE! Just ask those who use whatever lie/excuse if what Chauvin did to George Floyd would be ‘justified’ when applied to her/him? Also, ask those types, to validate their lies such as ‘whether they know for certain George Floyd had drugs in his system and if so, what about Chauvin’s knee? In fact, ask those who blame the victim if they consume drugs (legally/illegally), does that give ANYONE the right to kneel on her/his neck? If the liars still say yes! Then you’re dealing with a sick liar and an ignorant one. I know those who claim to support Chauvin are really hiding behind racism, dishonesty, delusions, and/or unAmerican values- just to maintain the status quo! How do I know this? Easy! Because the same liars ALWAYS have a double standard when it comes to her/him! Hmm?

  4. End Qualified Immunity and require law enforcement officers to have liability/malpractice insurance. Also, when at fault in civil lawsuits, the officer’s pension should be applied towards the settlement/award before taxpayers dollars are applied.

    1. Stop violent, drug addled, thieving felons who refuse to comport themselves as normal people do. Without idiots like Pretty Boy Floyd, LEOs would have a much better and easier job. Imagine having to interface with the worst of the worst every single day of your life.

    2. And stop the militarization of police. They are not assault troops and should not act as such. Ending the war on drugs as well. Police often act as ur guilty to be proven innocent.

    1. @Sarah F Lel Donald Trump was a coward and that’s why he lost. I’d called it that he was a coward when he got elected.

    1. You’re out of your mind or not fully informed on how this all went down. Watch the first 10 minutes of the 21 minute bodycam footage. The media hasn’t shown full video for a reason. If you watch it, you will see this isn’t cut and dry murder, and that he deserves a fair trial. I don’t really care about the verdict, if he’s found innocent or guilty, so be it.

  5. I wish Chauvin would get convicted and get the death penalty, BUT PEOPLE ARE SETTING THEMSELVES UP FOR FAILURE! VIDEO OR NOT, CHAUVIN WILL WALK

  6. Sit down girl..havnt u got enough publicity and $..justice is when people RESPECT laws.Cop needs to go free for his service.

  7. When a man being restrained literally starts crying for his mother I think it is a fair assumption that unreasonable force has been used.

  8. “When God takes things from you he replaces them” ….. Ugh. Sorry, I have every sympathy for George and his family but honestly, this is lunacy.

  9. Amass a felony rap sheet a mile long, go to prison for 5 years, try to pass a counterfeit bill and resist arrest while high on Fentanyl and meth bad things can happen. Not saying what happened to the guy was in any way ok but stop trying to portrait him as some martyr saint.
