The term “Silent Majority” is a Civil War euphemism that was used to describe dead Confederate Soldiers. Richard Nixon used it later as a hidden code for the white majority.
No it isn’t. Spiro Agnew used the term first to describe the majority of Americans who don’t speak in the media. There is nothing about it “in code”.
