Building Contractor Blames Bank Delays | TVJ Business Day | Jamaica News

Complaints this evening from a local developer that banks are not on board with the Government's plan to create housing solutions for Jamaicans. President of Halton Development Management Limited Paul Walker, claims that many developments have stalled because of financing delays caused by banks.

  9. The bank is one of the reason, but not the only reason why Jamaica is not progressing as do other countries.Most bank is develop and developing countries have certain percentages of loan written off as bad loan.Not in Jamaica they expect all loans to be repaid.This is bad for any economy.
