    1. It is amazing that trumpeters find excuses and conspiracy-theories. It should make us think about how education works and does NOT work well enough.

    2. @Wayne Parr It’ll take the death of a loved one to make them stop doubting and even then that might not be enough

  1. Trump is a ‘trump’ as in the U.K. usage of the word to mean a fart. And a ‘follow through’ fart at that.

  2. Imagine being a medical worker in NYC when 911 happened.
Now imagine being a medical worker in any major hospital in the US, dealing with a 911 every week for 20 weeks straight.

    1. Your image is off. Imagine having a 911 size event taking place in the US every 20± hours. And that’s just in the number of deaths. Then add to that those who survive, but are left with missing body parts (that had to be amputated due to COVID caused blood clots), brain damage (again, COVID caused blood clots), needing bilateral lung transplants, & a wide range of other complications related to COVID & which are, more likely than not, going to leave them with a lifelong disability that will impair them from ever being able to rejoin this nation’s work force.
Imagine all that & you are beginning to approach the reality of the nightmare toll Trump’s choice to “downplay” the seriousness of this virus, his decision to completely politicize something as consequential as a newly emerged virus, is having on our lives & our futures.
I wish that these people who are still crying over being told that they have to wear a mask were capable of seeing this virus through my eyes & understand it as I do. I wish they could pull their heads out of this me first, America first delusion they have subscribed to long enough to realize that much of this didn’t have to happen & that they can still save lives by agreeing to endure a tiny bit of discomfort & following the same guidelines that have proved so successful in countries that have effectively dropped their viral load down to the single digits.

  3. And we got 73 million Trump ppl walking around without masks u can’t imagine how much higher they make the risk this should be an issue biden and the Dems should stress this point I swear these ppl don’t ever fight back it’s unlawful to this being allowed in 🤐 this is the most dangerous thing to happen since this virus started we don’t know how many of them got it now but I’m sure it’s a whole lot somebody need to do something about this it’s the most dangerous thing anybody’s don’t since this out break.

    1. @Steve Higgins sociopathic lies will destroy this country I don’t live under a rock cuz I don’t live in dump world.

    1. @Leesa I’ve reported so many, but no response from ytube. MSNBC doesn’t seem to be making an effort to block them either.

    2. At least they’re mostly harmless and easy to ignore. I view them as the absolute least of our problems on social media.

  4. CA better hunker down at home and use ALL personal precautions Every Time they leave their homes. Completely STOP visiting at other homes. Limit socializing to phone or online contact only. Minimize as much as possible only trips to stores for essential items.
Pull together on this, it’s not going to get any better and only get worse unless EVERYONE takes responsibility to stop the spread.
All other States had better heed the precautions as well, or Nationwide we will be suffering thousands of needless deaths. You’re part of the solution or part of the problem…
The end is in sight. Please don’t risk lives, yours and every contact you have. Just a few months to vaccination immunity. Don’t give up now on vigilance to preserving your health just to die so horribly, when we are so close to the end of this nightmare Pandemic!

  5. Abu al-Baqa ar-Rundi
From “An Elegy to al-Andalus” Poem (1267)
Everything declines after reaching perfection, therefore let no man be beguiled by the sweetness of a pleasant life.
As you have observed, these are the decrees that are inconstant: he whom a single moment has made happy, has been harmed by many other moments.

  6. Why not have the Navy’s Mercy ship go up to LA? We did that at the start of this. Why not request it again? Then you won’t have people in a gift shop.

    1. They did that for non Covid patients while the hospitals had created surge capacity. Who is going to staff the hospital ship at a totally separate site Genius. The entire country is experiencing a surge so you can’t “borrow” ICU doctors to leave the hospitals.

    2. @Anthony Scimeca So I assume you mean having a ship for non- Covid patients again? Interesting idea. What is your medical specialty? Or maybe you’re a hospital administrator. Even the Navy thought having a non Covid ship was a dangerous idea. And that was before we knew the degree of presymptomatic spread of SARS-Co-V2. Keeping an entire ship Covid free is nearly impossible. What are your thoughts?

  7. If the surge continues OMG January will be worse! Sad
Trump and federal government have failed the American people!
