California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that specific areas in the state will be under a stay-at-home order. Newsom said this is to prevent people from gathering with others outside of their household as coronavirus cases surge. California Issues New Stay-At-Home Order Linked To ICU Capacity | Ayman Mohyeldin | MSNBC
Although this is a common sense approach it will be politicized. Listen to the experts folks. This is not about being a sheep or a Republican or a Democrat.
@giabread in the begining, Fauci said there is no need to wear masks, then experts from the CDC said only doctors should wear masks, not the public, then the WHO said we should praise China for containing this virus, there is so much contradictions. You have a smartphone, look it up.
Common sense? It’s not common here in Florida, where we are WIDE open, restaurants open for dine-in eating, and our economy is BOOMING. Unlike California, we have sense that is not common, the type that allows us to sift through the bs and keep our state as open as possible. It’s not political. Lockdowns don’t work, we’re 8 months in, can’t you figure that out yet?
@Ricky I. The initial advice on masking was because we didn’t have enough of them. Look at what happened to toilet paper. If Fauci had said “everyone mask up,” then there would have been nothing left for the doctors and nurses. When supplies were more available, and the experts had learned more about the virus, then the guidance changed. This is all public information and really not that hard to understand. As you said to the other person, maybe use your smartphone and look it up.
@Chris Taylor I’m not sure what you’re bragging about exactly. Florida just went over 1 million cases. Florida has more cases as a function of its population than either New York and California do. Am I missing something here? Florida’s lax approach isn’t working.

I went and loaded up on groceries. Also was clean outta coffee filters. The good thing about California, is that per capita we are less then 40 other states in spread and total cases. If we all wore masks and were careful, we could get a handle on this.
