When a trump staffer tested positive he met with donors in person, when a Harris staffer tested positive she canceled campaign events.

I hope nobody thinks it’s a foolproof way to prevent coronavirus, but really the benefit is that the particles you breathe out are diffused and suppressed. Have you seen how far an unsuppressed sneeze travels? Even a shirt over your face is better than nothing.

The CDC defines ‘Close Contact’ as being within 6ft for 15m for the 2 days prior to infection. If so, then self-isolate for 14 days. She wasn’t in ‘Close Contact’ and is therefore more than following advice.
Trump is a different case entirely and was recklessly endagering the lives of all around him both by not following isolation procedures and not taking the best current advice on self care and care for others.
Now. Are we going to get arguments saying Harris should be going above CDC guidelines (thereby a tacit agreement of the danger the illness possesses?) Or are we going to get arguments saying protection procedures don’t work and it should be a free for all (which is a dangerous cocktail of antiscience, fatalism and cart before the horse thinking) Or are we going to have usual suspects tell us how the disease isn’t serious (which is the height of stupidity, your ‘glorious leader’ may have access to the best medical treatment money can buy, you don’t.). You will notice there is something that applies to all the above oft-trouped ‘arguments’: they are contradictory, hypocritical and based in anecdote.
The White House was intentionally infected.
I think that we’re going to have to accept that covid19 is a fact of life for now and going nowhere for a while yet. It’s frightening, it’s agony I haven’t recovered properly 2months after ‘recovering’ from it. At its worst, I wouldn’t wish it on anybody but I am so fed up of it being used as a battering ram to push us around whilst little seems to actually be being done about it other than arguing between politicians and the silencing of doctors and scientists.

You are correct. But be brave AND careful.
In Pennsylvania you can check on your ballot over the internet and make sure there’s no issue. If there’s an issue you can correct it any time until the polls close but I’m not sure how the correction process works. At any rate there’s plenty of time to make sure your vote counts any way you do it.

see people get me wrong with all this maks wearing thing i really don’t care about wearing it or not it’s not a big deal but i don’t want it pushed on any one like i got lot’s of other friends that don’t like to wear one and then i got lots that do so i want to keep all my friends happy and safe for there reasons and yes i would do it in a place if it was just a one on one and one person wanted me to wear one and the other people with out being forced by any man made laws. or if my friend wanted me to wear a differn’t shirt i might do that for them depends though if it goes agianst GOd or not as well he is my best friend. and my boss. and he said i had a choice. and i got no scripture for or agaisnt a mask. and we are supposed to stand for freedom and equality of belives culters and relgion in canada and america. so i stand for all my other friends as well. like if every one in a establishment and all the part owners want to sign anagreement by not being forced by any one to do it i will sign with them. if all my friends want to. my best friend never said it was wrong to wear a mask. but he all so said i had a choice to wear it or not. so if they all agree i will sign with them on the mask thing. in establishments that we are all part owners of.
